"That was a nice goal!" Natalie said, clapping as they saw the match on TV.
"Kaya nga eh!" Lauren said with a smile.
"By the way, anong nangyari pagtapos ng unang tryouts mo? I know na nagfail siya, but what happened next?" Lauren asked.
"Yun nga, nalungkot ako ng sobra." Natalie said. And tears fell from her eyes.
"Naging emosyonal ka na ah." Lauren replied, and she comforted Natalie.
"Pag naalala ko yun ate, nalulungkot ako." Natalie cried, and Lauren gave her a tissue to wipe her tears.
But at the same day, she was crying on her hospital bed. Natalie's parents are trying to cheer her up.
"Mama, papa, sorry, natalo po ako." Natalie cried.
Tandaan mo, failure is a part of success, not the opposite of it." Natalie's dad said.
You didn't lose hope. Natalie's mum said.
"Pero ma, mas gusto kong manalo ako kaysa matalo." Natalie cried again.
Keep on pursuing it anak. Marami ka pang mararating. Hindi hadlang ang isang pagkatalo." Natalie's dad said.
The best fall down sometimes but no one settles on the mud on defeat. Winners stand up after a fall." Natalie's mum said.
And with tears, Natalie hugged her parents. She uncontrollably cried and she sought comfort on her defeat.
Natalie's friends and her PE teacher visited Natalie in the hospital, bringing her fruits, balloons that says "Get well soon!", teddy bears, and nutritious foods. Sobrang saya ni Natalie.
"Guys, maraming salamat sa pagdalaw sa akin!" Natalie said.
And who knows, by the grace of God, maging national champion ka?" Natalie's PE teacher said.
Natalie said.
Her father started a bike shop business and lots of people are buying bike parts and complete bike setups. In this way, dito yumaman sina Natalie.
She also kept on practicing her singing skills. She even joined junior racing competitions in Brighton, though kahit hindi nananalo, ay masaya siya dahil may nagegain siya na skills at experiences sa pagiging siklista.
