Chapter 17 - The Super Table Hills

"Lauren, naguusap pa ba kayo ni ate Mary at ni Bible? Kailangan natin sila bukas para sa opening ceremony ng college na pinatayo sa Table Hills." William asked.

"Di pa po pa. Pupuntahan ko si Bible sa kanila po." Lauren replied.

"Nice. Sige, puntahan mo na at yakagin mo ah." William said.

Lauren went to Bible's house. Yayakagin niyang sumama si Bible sa kanila. Good thing that Bible was there.

"Hello Lauren! What brings you here?" Bible asked.

"Bible, my dad wants you to come join us tomorrow going to Table Hills for some ceremonies. Are you available?" Lauren asked.

"No problem! I'm happy to come join you tomorrow! What time are we going to leave?" Bible asked.

"By around 9 in the morning." Lauren answered.

"Sure, I'll hop in!" Bible replied.

August 18, 2016.

Kasama ng pamilya ni Lauren si Bible na pinaunlakan ng Valientes Group na bumisita sa Table Hills. Lauren and Bible became deep friends already since she migrated. Sinakay ni Lauren si Bible sa kotse niya na Volvo S60.

"I'm happy that you invited me to a special event today!" Bible said.

"And I'm happy that you've joined us!" Lauren smiled.

As they arrived at Table Hills after a three-hour ride, sinalubong sila ni Taylor sa gate ng manor nila.

"Thank you Miss Bible for accepting our invitation to become our special guest! We are humbled that you are here!" Taylor smiled.

"You're welcome! But, I'm the one who's gonna be thankful because you chose me to become your special guest at your company's special event! Congratulations!" Bible said, shaking Taylor's hand.

"Thank you! Pasok po kayo!" Taylor said, bringing them to the guesthouse.

The guesthouse are now full of visitors. Kapwa nagkita sina Lauren, Nicole Ashleigh at Taylor.

"Lauren, siya pala si Nicole Ashleigh. She's friends with me. Her family is an investor to the Valientes Group, so, we're allies!" Taylor said. Nagkamayan sina Lauren at Nicole Ashleigh.

"Hello ate Lauren! Kamusta ka po?" Nicole Ashleigh said with a smile.

"Hello Nicole! Di ko aakalaling magkikita tayo rito!" Lauren smiled.

"Woah, huwag mong sabihing magkakilala kayo, Lauren?" Taylor said.

"Oo, magkilala kami. 2nd year siya ngayon, last year ko sa school ay freshman siya. We've met duon sa foundation day, nagpa jail booth sila." Lauren said.

"Pambihira! Lahat na lang Lauren kilala mo! Hahahaha!" Taylor laughed.

"Gento talaga ate eh. Kaschoolmate natin siya eh. Husto lang yan." Lauren replied.

"Small world nga na magkakasama ang mga family natin sa business, tapos magkaibigan pa tayo! Nice naman mga ate!" Nicole Ashleigh smiled.

Pinatawag din ng nanay ni Taylor ang mga kaibigan ni Lauren sa kanilang tahanan sa Table Hills para sa isang meeting.

Most of Lauren's friends arrived at the Table Hills, all are riding in their own cars. Taylor gave them a warm welcome, and led them to the main mansion. May mga ibang kabataan rin ang dumating na mga taga Table Hills, and the city of Escoda.

"Mga kabataan, as you may know, pinatawag ko kayo rine para sa isang meeting. May mahalagang bagay akong gustong ibigay sa inyong lahat." Taylor's mum said.

"Sa inyong lahat na pumunta, masaya kong pinapaalam sa inyong lahat na lahat kayo'y mabibigyan ng scholarship grant sa eskwelahan na gusto ninyong pasukan. Sagot na ng aming pamilya ang mga gastusin, at pagaaral ninyo. At para naman sa lahat ng mga taga-Table Hills, we are happy to announce that the construction of Table Hills College has been completed. Libre po ang enrollment sa Table Hills, wala po kayong gagastusin na kahit piso. Yun lamang po at salamat!" Taylor's mum said. Everyone gave an applause.

Sobrang laking tulong ang ginawa ng pamilya ni Taylor sa kanilang komunidad na Table Hills. 7000+ youth will be given free education at Table Hills first-built college, and the rest will enroll outside Table Hills.

Table Hills is known for their mountainous terrain, yet rich in agriculture. It reminds us of the mountainous Italian city near the sea. Also, fishing rin ang kinabubuhay ng mga family na nakatira sa Table Hills. May mga light industry din like food manufacturing and other services, so this what makes Table Hills genuine. Table Hills resembles to like, the mountainous coastal cities of Italy.

Ang pamilya ni Taylor, acknowledging the help of Valientes Group, ang mga unang tao na nagpagawa ng college para sa komunidad ng Table Hills. This solidified the reputation of Valientes Group in the whole community of Table Hills and to the government.

After the students received their scholarship grant, ay nagpakain at nagpacelebrate sina Taylor sa guesthouse. Bible signed autographs for the youth na nanduon, and even went to celebrate with them. Nagkita-kita rin sina Lauren at ang mga kaibigan niya sa party.

Meanwhile, Stephanie Bates and Mary arrived home to witness the ribbon-cutting ceremony of the Valientes Fashion College.

"Nagpapasalamat po ang Valientes Group sa lokal na pamahalaan ng Table Hills, Province of Escoda at sa mga taong nandito ngayon sa inyong pagpunta rine sa ribbon-cutting ceremony ng inyong Table Hills Fashion School! Pinatayo po ng Valientes Group ang fashion school na ito para tulungan ang mga aspiring fashion designers at models ng komunidad na mas mahasa sila sa kanilang skills. Napansin po namin na malayo po ang mga eskwelahan na nagtuturo ng special course na ito, pero pinili po naming ipatayo ang school na ito para magkaroon ng access at para maging mas malapit ang eskwelahang ito. So with that, Mrs. Stephanie Bates, Ms. Bible Min, Ms. Mary Julianna Wilson, please have the honours to cut the ribbon and to officially open the Valientes Fashion School!" William said.

Everyone gave a loud applause as Stephanie, Bible and Mary cut the ribbon, signalling the official opening of the Valientes Fashion College. 430 people enrolled at that day.

At that day, all of the poor farmers in Table Hills received free lands, farming equipment, and trucks to deliver their goods. Taylor did the turnover ceremony.

"Nagpapasalamat po kaming mga mahihirap na mangbubukid sa inyo, Ms. Taylor Stevens sa pagtulong ninyo sa amin na magkaroon ng mas malaking lupa, mga kagamitan at sasakyan para madala namin sa bayan ang aming mga pananim. Malaki po ang utang na loob namin sa inyo!" the community leader of Table Hills said.

"Wala pong anuman. Ang samin lamang po ay gusto po naming magkaroon kayo ng pangkabuhayan at umasenso po kayo. Hanggat nandito po kami ay tutulong po kami ng walang kapalit. Yun lamang po." Taylor replied with a genuine smile.

Nakakapagod ang araw na iyon, pero solido. It's a success for everyone. And Lauren's family is on the way to becoming richer, and I'm praying that they won't be filthy.

Table Hills became a solid district of the Escoda, thanks to the efforts of the government, and Taylor's family.
