Hotch hangs back at the Fitzgerald house, taking statements while the rest of us go meet Lopez at the newest crime scene. "Texas plates," Rossi comments on the fairly expensive-looking car.

"Deacon Rogers never rented a car. He drove here in this. We put it out as a BOLO," Lopez explains.

"Agent Hotchner is taking statements from the family of Steven Fitzgerald. He might be our UnSub," Spencer informs.

"Seriously?"

"It's an unusual household," Emily comments.

"That's the understatement of the year," I mutter.

"We've had his picture this whole time?" Lopez asks in disbelief.

"Apparently," Spencer mumbles.

"Didn't know soon enough to prevent this. One set of tire tracks in, nothing out," Rossi comments.

"Yeah, I noticed that. County spotted the vehicle twenty minutes ago, as is,"

"Asphyxiated?"I ask.

"Huh, why mess with a good thing? It's clearly working for him," Lopez answers.

"This stretch of road takes you out of the city," Emily states. "If we lose Steven now it could take us months to catch up with him again,"

"May I?" Derek asks.

"Knock yourself out," Lopez says. Derek reaches over the shell of a man and looks at whatever is on the seat. He picks up a piece of paper.

"What is it?" Rossi asks, looking over Derek's shoulder.

"I don't know, some kind of scraps of paper. It looks like a fast-food wrapper," He opens the paper up. "It's a receipt for a youth hostel. It's dated last night. The name on it is Michael Aldridge,"

"From the looks of his sunburn, it's a good guess this young man was hitchhiking," Rossi points out.

"Assuming Steven's taken over Michael's identity, he might've hitched a ride out of here," Spencer states.

"He didn't drive?" Rossi asks.

"Not if Michael didn't. He's not becoming his victims by choice. It's his illness. He'd have to travel the exact same way," Spencer explains.

"Hostels,"

"There are a few hostels in North Miami Beach," Lopez informs. "Four miles that way and in Seneca, five miles west,"

"We'll have to split up. We'll take Seneca, you take North Miami Beach," Rossi informs.

"What room did you put him in?" Derek asks.

"It's like a day room kind of thing. Like a dormitory," She explains.
