Hotch and I walk into the office together and everyone gives us a look. The girls, a suggestive look. The boys, confusion. "Morning," I say simply as I walk past everyone and sit at my desk. I shrug off my overcoat, leaving me in my black muscle tank and whitewash jeans. I can almost feel their eyes searching my neck, looking for any marks.

"Abigail," I turn in my chair to see Hotch and the others.

"Yeah," He gives me a look and I sigh heavily. "Ok there's um, there's something I need to tell you guys,"

Everyone's faces become serious just from my tone of voice. "There are some things you guys don't know about me. Before I joined the BAU, I was in prison. When I was fourteen, I was uh," I take a deep breath before continuing. Derek walks over and places his hand on my shoulder as I sit on the desk. "I was raped. I ended up in the hospital from some minor wounds that were inflicted on me by my rapist. I went to court and no one believed me and they assumed I was lying,"

I watch as Penelope's eyes well with tears. "Don't start crying yet cause what I'm about to tell you may change how you see me for a long time. I spent seven months working out and taking self-defence classes. Once I felt like I was ready, I bought a pair of brass knuckles off a friend," I chuckle dryly from the memory. "I then found this guy and I killed him. I'm gonna leave out the gory details but I earned myself 17 years in prison for killing one man. A horrible man may I add. The court reexamined my murder case and looked deeper into the man I killed, they found he had been accused of sexual assault over thirteen times before. My sentence was dwindled down to 8 years. Those years in prison made me the person I am now. And if you'd like time to think about what I've told you, I don't blame you. But where I was going with this is that someone is after me. I met him in prison and he's after me now,"

"Why am I just knowing about this now?" Derek asks, irritation clear in his voice. I quickly take out the french toast from my bag and hand it to him with a smile. "French toast doesn't make it better Abbi,"

"I know it doesn't but I didn't think it was anything serious until it was something serious. I told Hotch and we decided the best thing is for me to never be alone," I type that I'm staying at Hotch's on my phone before showing it to the others. "The guy that's after me is named Danny Jensen. He wrecked my car last night and he's been leaving me letters and giving me phone calls,"

After explaining the full situation everyone has a different expression. Hotch, Rossi, Emily, JJ and Derek have one of anger and irritation. Penelope is a look of sympathy and Spencer, Spencer looks uncomfortable for some reason.

"Guys, we should just get to work," I say, breaking the silence, and everyone from their thoughts

"Guys, we should just get to work," I say, breaking the silence, and everyone from their thoughts. "I'm sure we have a case,"

"Yeah, yours," Derek says pointedly.

"Uh no. I don't have a case. I am fine," I say matter-a-factly as I get up from my chair.

"She's right though. We do have a case," Hotch informs, removing his cellphone from his ear.
