Newfound Love [Asta x Noelle]

Chapter 4- Captain

Chapter 4- a couple days had passed since the festival. Noelle and Asta hadn't told anyone about their relationship yet. Final, Noelle, Asta and Luck had gone training about a half hour away from the hideout.

As they all had, Luck had grown. However one thing that would never leave him was his fighting spirit.

"Man, I'm taking a break. I'm exhausted." Finral said as he sat down on the ground.

"Already? Let's have a fist fight! Fight me!" Luck said grinning as usual.

"uh, I think I'll pass." Finral said.

"You're boring. Asta! lets brawl!" Luck said.

"I uh- I'm gonna join finral for a few minutes" Asta said scratching his head nervously sitting next to his friend.

Luck continuously begged Noelle to fight him and to his surprise she agreed after a while.

"So, since they can't hear us now. You've got to tell me. How did things go between you two?" Finral asked. "You've been spending an awful lot of time together since then" Finral said nudging his shoulder.

Asta laughed.

"In the end I did confess. It turns out Noelle likes me too, and she wants to be more than friends as I do." Asta said.

"Im so happy for you, good luck with your new relationship. You've got a lot to learn" Finral said.

Asta chuckled nervously.

"You're right. I don't have a clue how a boyfriend should act or what I should be doing. I'm gonna try my best for her though." Asta said.

"Yeah, spend time with her when ever you can. Make her happy, you're good at it. You'll do fine." Finral said.

"Thanks Finral" Asta said.

"Don't worry about it" Finral said as he stood up.

"GUYS! It's about time we head back! Captain wants us back within an hour!" Finral said.

Noelle and Luck walked over. They both looked pretty tired.

"I'm going to use my spatial magic" Finral said as he opened up a portal.

"Right, I think I might walk back" Asta said.

"I'll join you." Noelle said.

Finral took the hint.

"Alright, you coming luck?" Finral asked.

"Yeah, let's go already!" He said.

The two of them left leaving Asta and Noelle alone.

"Want to start walking Noelle?" Asta asked.

"Yeah, sure" She replied.

The two had just started dating. They weren't experienced, and hadn't done anything yet. Since the festival, they hadn't hugged, kissed or done anything like that together. It was a bit too early for them.

The two had been walking for a couple minutes. There was a silence but it was a comforting one. They relaxed in eachothers company.

Asta looked at Noelle. He couldn't help but admire her beauty. It made him blush, but it also made him want to do more than just walk beside her.

He decided it was best he made a move. Not a big one, but enough to feel even a little closer to her. As they walked Asta slowly moved his hand towards hers. Noelle hadn't even noticed.

When he was close enough he slipped his hand into hers and held it tight. Noelle blushed when she felt his hand in hers. It surprised her. But it also made her happy. She looked at him and smiled. Asta returned it almost instantly.
