Newfound Love [Asta x Noelle]

Arc 2: Chapter 6- Promotion

Asta slowly opened his eyes. He looked down to see Noelle snuggled into his chest, completely naked. He then remembered the events of the previous night.

He lightly kissed her forehead and after feeling movement she began to awaken.

"Sorry, did I wake you up?" Asta asked.

Noelle yawned. "It's about time I wake up anyway Dorksta" She replied, chuckling lightly as she rubbed her eyes. Remembering what had happened the previous night she held the blankets tightly, blushing lightly as she covered herself.

"Are you feeling okay?" Asta asked, looking at her.

"I'm fine, what makes you ask?" Noelle said.

"Oh I'm just making sure, I was just checking I didn't hurt you last night." Asta said chuckling nervously.

"For such a bold and brave guy in combat, you're such a worry wart sometimes." Noelle chuckled. Likewise, despite her composed act, Noelle was quite easily flustered. They both had their flaws.

"Only when it comes to you Noelle, you know just how much I care about you!"He said.

"No I know, it's one of the many reasons I love you" She chuckled.

Asta put his arms around her, he chuckled as he gave her a hug. Then she embraced him, but she couldn't help but blush as she felt his bare skin against her's yet again.

"About last night, what do you think?" Noelle asked blushing a little. It was quite a bold question.

"Well, I enjoyed it for sure. I can't describe it, but In those moments I felt connected to you almost. I'm not the best at wording things but- I feel as if it's brought us even closer. On top of that, I feel like it symbolises our progress, reminds we of how far we've come together, and that I love you" He said smiling.

His heart warming words brought a smile to her face.

"What about you?" He asked.

"I admit, I was really nervous about making it enjoyable for you. I was worried about not being good enough, but now I feel pretty confident. I thought it was really nice too- do you think we'll be able to... y'know, more often?" Noelle asked blushing.

"As much as I'd like to say yes, the way things are now that'd be difficult in the hideout and all-. But In the near future, I hope to have our very own place." Asta said as he weaved his fingers through her silver hair.

Noelle smiled.

"I look forward to it" She said.

"Do you know what time it is?" Noelle asked.

"Probably around the afternoon, the others were drunk off their heads. I doubt they'd be up early. And we stayed up pretty late ourselves." Asta said, as he scratched his head nervously.

"Yeah" Noelle said as she yawned she then began to sit up, she needed to take a bath or at least find her clothes. Asta then pulled her back into bed into yet another hug.

"What are you doing?" She said blushing.

"Where do you think you're going?" he laughed.

"Quit playing around!" She chuckled. "We both need to clean ourselves up." Noelle said.

"That's true, there's a bath in each room right?"Asta said, letting go of her.

"Yeah, the bathroom is just by that door" Noelle said pointing to a second door.

"Oh right!" Asta said.

"You can bath first if you want, I'll wait" Noelle said.

"Why don't we just bath together?" Asta asked obliviously.
