Arc 2! Chapter one: The journey begins!

"Wake up!" Noelle said shaking her hopeless boyfriend.

"Huh?" Asta said as he got up.

"Come on, don't tell me you've forgotten. We need to prepare for the mission" Noelle said.

"Oh right" Asta said scratching his head nervously.

"Thanks for waking me up" He said as he put his hand over her's. He yawned as he got out of bed.

"It's fine, the bathrooms free if you want to get ready" Noelle said smiling slightly.

"Alright" he said. "It's been forever since I've been in a dungeon, this is gonna rock"

"I'm going to head downstairs. We don't have long until we need to leave, the sun is rising so be quick if you can" Noelle said.

"Sure thing" Asta said as he left to find the bathroom. It was hard since the base shuffled every day, especially since he was in a rush but he found it rather quickly.

He left the door open as he brushed his teeth. He noticed Finral walking by.

"Hmm Fmmm!" Asta tried to say. Finral looked into the room in confusion.

He then spat into the sink.

"Hey Finral! Morning!" Asta said.

"Morning Asta" Said Finral who had also just woken up.

"Mind if I wash my face?" Finral said as he yawned.

"Not at all" Asta said.

"How come you're up so early?" Finral asked.

"About to head off on a mission, Noelle woke me up" Asta replied.

"Right, did you make any moves yesterday?" Finral asked.

"I did actually" Asta chuckled nervously.

"Did you kiss her?!" Finral asked.

"Yeah but I'm totally inexperienced and I didn't know what I was doing. I don't think I did very well but she enjoyed it none the less. I think it was a success!" Asta said blushing slightly.

Finral chuckled as the two bumped fists.

"Seems like it was to me, what did I say? I knew she'd be happy. After all when it comes to love no one has better judgement" Finral said.

Asta laughed.

"Surprisingly that's true, however it's hard to believe since you were single for so long" Asta said.

"Ouch. I'll have you know I just had so many girls swooning over me I didn't know who to choose!." Finral said in embarrassment.

The two shared a laugh.

"I've got to go now! If I don't get down there quickly Noelle will kill me for sure!"Asta said.

"Yeah, I'll see you soon" Finral said.

Asta joined the others in the common room for breakfast.

"Hey Vanessa, Nero" Asta said as he walked in.

"Morning" Vanessa said.

"Good Morning" Nero replied.

"Where's my good morning?" Noelle said.

"Didn't I say it earlier?" Asta said.

"Nope" Noelle replied.

Asta chuckled. "Alright then" He said.
