Newfound Love [Asta x Noelle]

Arc 2: Chapter 2- The talk.

Noelle sat down in the grass. She admired the flowers and took in the gentle breeze.

"So, how about a talk between us girls?" Vanessa said as she crossed her legs.

"A talk? What sort of 'talk' " Noelle asked playing with one of the flowers she picked.

She knew where this was going.

"You're boyfriend, fill me in. How far has your relationship come" Vanessa asked nudging her a little.

"I knew you'd ask" Noelle laughed.

"Well?" Vanessa asked. She smirked slightly as she waiting for an answer.

Noelle rolled her eyes and began to explain. Slowly plucking the petals from the flower. "At the start it was new and pretty awkward but we've changed. Well, you've seen us hug which is pretty normal for the two of us at this point. Asta sometimes kisses me on my forehead or cheek and places like that and we've actually kissed once." Noelle said blushing.

"You've come a long way in a month, I'm assuming he's the one who initiated the kiss as well?" Vanessa said teasing a little.

Noelle looked down at the ground as she spoke. "Yeah, I wanted to kiss him but didn't have the courage. Kisses between us are still a rare thing since we've only kissed once, but I hope in time it'll be more usual." Noelle said.

"At the pace you're moving it will" Vanessa reassured her.

Noelle scratched her neck nervously. "I hope so. That's all really. We haven't done anything- intimate yet.. we're the right age but I think it's a bit early. Don't get me wrong- I do want to, but I don't know if this is good timing." Noelle said.

"I'm sure he feels the same way, you've only been together a month so just do what feels comfortable. Some people start on the first date, some within weeks some people wait a year or more or even marriage. When you feel you're ready, then you can start doing things like that" Vanessa said.

Noelle nodded. "Yeah, I also don't know what we'd do if we had a child accidentally. We can't afford to run that risk right now. I don't know how Asta would react, we're both really active and busy we couldn't possibly be magic knights and parents. I guess I'm over thinking but you have to consider these risks." Noelle said.

"If that's you're concern, make sure to use protection or just don't go all the way. You should talk to Asta about it. Anyways atleast you're aware, you and Asta are like younger siblings to me. I keep forgetting how much you've grown, I can't help but look out for you." Vanessa said.

Noelle smiled.

"You know, I never really ever did bond with my siblings growing up. So although I had 3, I never knew what it was like to actually have siblings since mine only verbally abused me. But I imagine, that the bond I have with you is probably what it would have been like to have an older sister." Noelle said.

Vanessa smiled.

Noelle's friends at the bulls really were her family. Vanessa always looked out for her. She appreciated each and every one of them.

"Thanks for talking with me Vanessa, I usually wouldn't be so open but- it was nice having some one to talk to" she said.

"I only really agreed with your points is all, but anyways we should really get going. We've gone over our time limit" Vanessa said.

Nero flew back down and transformed.

"All we're missing now is that meathead" Noelle said.

"Have you seen Asta Nero?" Vanessa asked.
