Newfound Love [Asta x Noelle]

Chapter 5- Kisses

Almost a month had passed since Yami told the bulls he was leaving. It was a normal day in the hideout, the day was young, Noelle was talking with Vanessa, Luck and Magna were fighting. It was pretty much the usual.

It was an early summer morning, Asta was doing push-ups in the common space where everyone else was. He was much more muscular compared to when he was 15, he had to keep to a certain amount of exercise to maintain his physique.

Asta noticed Finral who was combing his hair and walked over.

"Hey Finral, you going somewhere?" He asked.

"Oh, I'm going to see my fiancé in a couple minutes" He replied.

"Oh right!" Asta said.

"How are things between you and Noelle going?" Finral asked.

"Well, after being together for a month things are less awkward. Before I was pretty nervous and she was too but now we feel really comfortable" Asta said.

"That's great to hear, have you made any progress?" Finral asked.

Asta raised an eyebrow.

"Y'know, haven't you kissed at all?" Finral said again.

"Kissed? I mean we've hugged-" Asta said.

"You've been together a month and all you've done is hugged?" Finral said.

"Is that bad?" Asta replied.

"Well, I wouldn't say it's bad but don't you think it's time you take things a step forward? Don't you want to kiss Noelle?" Finral asked again.

"Well of course I do. I just don't want to rush things. If she feels ready, then I am." Asta said.

"You should go for it" Finral said.

"You know what, I will!" Asta said.

"Alright, I've got to go now" Finral said.

"See ya" Asta said.

"Bye" Finral said as he used his spatial magic.

Noelle walked over to him.

"What were you two talking about?" Noelle asked.

"Nothing much, I was just asking where he was going." Asta replied.

"Alright, Do you want to go to the capital with me Asta?" Noelle asked.

"Sure, is there something there you need?" Asta asked.

"I just wanted to buy more clothes since it's summer and all." Noelle replied.

"Sure I'll come, looks like we'll have to fly though cause Finral just left" Asta chuckled.

"That's fine" Noelle said smiling. "After all, the thing I wanted to do most. Was to spend time with my meat head boyfriend."

Asta smiled.

"Shall we get going?" He said

"Yeah, let's go" Noelle said.

Asta smiled and took Noelle's hand as they left the hideout.

"What a couple of lovebirds" Vanessa laughed.

Asta and Noelle walked around the capital hand in hand. The only ones who knew about their relationship were the bulls, so they made sure no magic knights were around as they held hands.

"So what places do you like?" Asta asked, he wasn't really a professional when it came to girls clothing.

"Hmm, let's look around." Noelle said.
