Sneaky snake

Amaya's POV:

  Kakashi left my care about two days ago, and in those two days he completely avoided me. Anytime he saw me he was walking the other direction, I'm really not to sure why. Haha, or maybe I am, he's so cute trying to act like he isn't into me. All I have to do is touch him and he melts, he gives in just so easily.

Though now that he isn't forced to live with me this game has gotten much harder. I don't see him everyday so I have to make it a point to visit Konaha much more often; like today. Today is the first day of the Chunin exams and Lord Third asked me to come and supervise. Which means I get to tease him all day long, as well as for the rest of the exams, I'm excited for once to be around people.

I haven't had enough social interaction as of late, and it's showing. I feel like I'm going crazy. Which is why I'm currently sitting down in the lounge area waiting for everyone with my leg non-stop bouncing. I don't remember ever officially meeting any of the other Jounin's, I didn't really stick around long enough to.

The door opens and I halt all movement, I don't need them thinking I'm nervous or anything. Four people walk in, three being male and only one female, these must be the different teams Jounin's. I stand, bow, and introduce myself.

"Hello, my name is Amaya, I'm a Jounin. It's a pleasure to meet you all." It seems no one was aware I was in the room, I startled a jump out of the woman and surprised looks from the rest.

"Oh gosh, you scared us. I'm Kurenai, Jounin leader of team 8. It's nice to meet you."

"And I'm mighto gai, you shine with the power of youth! I lead team 13!"

"I'm Asuma, I lead team 10." Everyone's gaze ended up on Kakashi, most likely wondering why he isn't introducing himself.

"Don't be rude to our newest friend Kakashi!"

"Oh it's alright Gai, we are already acquainted. Isn't that right Kashi?" Everyone's eyes widen at the nickname I've given him, Asuma even lets out a snort. They all look to him to confirm.

"Yes, we know each other. Not well though."

"That hurts my feelings Kashi, I thought we were close." I pout and end with a smirk.

"It seems like you both are quite close. I've never heard anyone give him a nickname."

"Well Kurenai we are very close. He just doesn't like to admit it, among other things. Isn't that right Kashi?" He blushes lightly and walks away, seems he doesn't like being teased in front of others. "Well I'll see you all later yes? I'm really just suppose to be watching from a distance."

"Yes, I'd love to talk to you more Amaya."

"You as well Kurenai." I swiftly make an exit after sending Kakashi a wink. I really wasn't planning on interacting with any of them, but I couldn't help myself. I was curious to see what they all looked like, and if they were actually strong in any way. They all seem pretty strong, their chakra levels were pretty high for Jounin's.

I make my way towards the room in which the first part of the exam takes place. Seems this year it's a written exam first, I can only imagine how bad Naruto is doing. He's truly not a book smart kid, I can only hope he grows out of that.

I sit and wait for about an hour, I though Ibiki was suppose to be some sort of scary interrogator guy. He seems half-way normal to me. His written exam only took out about half of the teams, thankfully the Leaf teams aren't all stupid.

The window beside me is suddenly broke and glass is flying everywhere. Anko, the wild girl who once studied under Orochimaru, such an unfortunate circumstance, is the next exam Procter. She declares the next location to take place at the Forest Of Death, pretty cool place really, if you look past the dangerous creatures there anyway.

I follow behind the group of children making their way there. Very few were actually alert to my presence. One being the red haired boy from Suna, and the other being the Hyuga boy from the branch family, another unfortunate circumstance.

The test is started as quickly as possible and I myself randomly follow around different teams, making sure nothing goes amiss, or at least too horribly.

It's been a day so far and the team from Suna have already finished while others are slowly making there way.

I tense at the release of a disturbing chakra, it's near team seven! I rush through the tree tops and make it in time to see Naruto stop a giant snake from eating Sasuke. Speak of the snake and apparently he shall appear. I don't have the patience to fight this man, he makes it so irritating.

I see his nasty head reach for Sasuke and I barely have time to react. Doing the substitution Jutsu putting myself in his place, thankfully I'm fast enough to stop Orochimaru from biting me. That boy may be an ass, but he does not deserve to go through that pain.

"Amaya!"

"Naruto! Grab your teammates and get your asses out of here!"

"But..!"

"No Naruto! You need to listen! Go! Now!" He grabs Sakura off the ground and Sasuke's wrist dragging them away.

"Oh? And who might you be? It's not very nice to interrupt people and their business."

"And it's not very nice to bite people without their permission you nasty snake."

"So you know who I am? Yet you still fight me head on?"

"I'm not an idiot, of course I know who you are."

"And who might you be then?"

"I think I'd like to keep that to myself if you don't mind." I quickly rush him and start slashing methodically with a kunai, hoping to at least land a scratch. I could possibly defeat him, but I have to play my cards right, and no matter what I can't show him my secret technique. He's creepy enough to try and bite me just for it.

This battle is getting tiring, keeping up with Orochimaru and keeping tabs on team sevens location is wearing me out. They're almost far enough away that I can attempt for backup.

"I really don't appreciate you ruining my plan, and for that I'm going to have to kill you." I swiftly throw a chakra engulfed fist at his chest and thankfully it hits, sending him back about twenty feet.

"So you've said. I really don't plan on dying today, so it seems we're at a stand still." I say while relaxing my posture and popping my back. I suddenly release a giant wave of my chakra, informing anyone near by that there's an intruder. "I would get going if I were you. Anything you planned on happening tonight, isn't going to." He sends me a glare and then slithers off to who knows where, while a couple Ambu show up and question me.

After the questions I went and checked on team seven, not that they knew that, but fortunately none of them were too badly hurt. There's still about four days left to this part of the exam and I highly doubt Orochimaru will come back a second time, well hopefully not, I probably couldn't handle him myself again.

  The second exam is finally finished, I was getting tired of being in the woods all the time. Wait... that doesn't make since, I live in the woods, what? Never mind. Anyways more teams passed then anyone expected so we are required to do a preliminary round of one on ones.

Instead of watching from the shadows I appeared right next to Kakashi, effectively scaring him slightly.

"Hey Kashi, did ya miss me?"

"Would you go away if I said no?"

"Of course not." He's really playing hard to get right now. I mean come on man, we've already fucked, what more could you possibly be waiting for. I already told you I like you, you yourself confessed your feelings, why are we not together already!? I just want to cuddle you and make you mine already. Ughhh, this is so frustrating!
