Amaya's POV:

   The preliminary rounds were over and done with quickly, leaving only a few to fight in the finals in a month. A month is a little long in my opinion, but I guess it's for them to learn something new to show off? It's weird now-a-days how they do things.

Everyone is turning soft, I could have easily passed this years exam as a Genin. As a Genin I was trained for war, these days the Genin are taught just the basics of what you need to learn. Its pure luck that none of them died in the Forest Of Death, Gai's team might have been fine, but the rest are too naive.

For now I suppose I'll just wander, Kakashi left with Sasuke to train him or whatever, and now I'm stuck here with little to no entertainment. I guess I could go find Naruto? Though he's probably training, maybe I could help him? He's kinda dumb, so my help could be of use to him. Well sounds like a plan, but first I'm gonna need to find him.

I didn't find him, little dudes somewhere completely off my radar, hopefully he's ok, that'd be awkward otherwise. So instead of messing around trying to find him, I decided a drink was a better option. I haven't gotten drunk in awhile and now seems like the perfect opportunity to do so.

So I walked to the nearest bar and started ordering, mostly vodka, but you get the point.

It's been awhile so that means my tolerance has gone way down, which means in return that I'm drunk after at least five drinks.

Dancing on bar tops is one of my favorite pastimes, which is how Kurenai and Anko happen to stumble upon me.

"Amaya! What are you doing!"

"Kurenai! It's great to see you again! Come and join me~." I throw my hands up and start dancing wildly.

"I like her."

"Anko! Don't egg it on. Come on Amaya, let's get you down from there." She grabs my hands and hauls me down, though not wanting to leave I make it tough for her.

"Come on Kurenai, let loose, live a little." I slur while leaning against her, not able to stand very well.

"How about we continue this at my place?"

"Great idea Mitarashi! Let's continue the drinking at yours!"

"Oh my god, this is a horrible idea."

"Well it's better then her staying here alone right?"

"I guess..," Aww they're talking about me, how sweet.

The walk to Anko's felt extremely slow, like super slow motion slow. I just wanted to get there quickly but Kurenai wouldn't let go of me. So my only option was to go along with it, in my current state there's no way I could escape her grip, being drunk really cripples you.

We arrived to Anko's within a couple of minutes of actually leaving the bar where in fact there were no more drinks to be had.

"That's messed up, you lied to me Kurenai, how could you!" Yeah I'm a dramatic drunk, it can't be helped.

"Actually I never technically agreed to drinking more, or at all."

"Now is not the time for technicalities! Now is the time for drinking!"

"I completely agree! Whoooo!"

"Anko!" Wow, these chicks are more fun then I thought they'd be, though Kurenai is really living up to be the prude I thought she was.

"Kurenai, take a chill pill lady. It's time to let loose and party!"

We did it! Me and Anko convinced her to drink! Haha! Now we're all drunk just chillin and eating food, the hype left awhile ago.

"So like you're low-key fucking Asuma right?"

"Oh my Amaya! Don't say it like that!"

"How else is she suppose to say it? She's not wrong."

"Well, ok fine. We're dating on the down-low ok, so don't tell anyone." I let out a snort and send Anko rolling, who had been previously trying to hold her laughter in.

"Miss girl, I'm new and I figured it out the second I met you both. There's no way everybody doesn't know about y'all."

"Are you serious!? Everyone knows!?" Me and Anko once again are sent rolling, this woman is so dense.

"Yes, everyone already knows Kurenai."

"Anko, why didn't you tell me?"

"I thought you knew!"

"Well obviously I didn't." She mumbles with a pouty face. "Well what about Amaya and her obvious interest in Kakashi!?" Oh so now we gotta pick on me?

"Really? You're into Hatake?"

"Of course I am, have you seen that man? And don't be mistaken, we're into each other, he's just being an idiot right now."

"Wait, seriously! He's into you!"

"Did he actually say that or are you just assuming?"

"Yes Kurenai he is, and he did in fact admit to it Anko. He's just being paranoid, I'm gonna have to talk to him about his insecurities."

"Aww, you really like him then?"

"Of course, he's super sweet and adorable. Very fun to tease as well."

"That's gross." 

"Nobody asked Mitarashi!"

Morning has arrived and I'm now burdened by an evil headache that won't go away. I now remember why I hadn't drank in awhile, the headache after is totally not worth it. I left Anko's early as to not wake the other two still peacefully sleeping, it's about time I go find Naruto and make sure he's still alive.

I realize I'm kind of a shitty guardian but at least he's getting fed something other then ramen and has an actual place to live that's not disgusting.

Today it took me a lot shorter of a time to find him, it seems I caught him on break?

"Hey Naruto, how're you doing?"

"Amaya! I'm good believe it!"

"Oh I believe it alright. How's training?"

"It's alright, I don't really know what I should be doing. It's not like I have a sensei to help me. Kakashi sensei went off with Sasuke to train him, Sakura is off somewhere, and I'm here by myself with no clue how I'm suppose to train for this thing!" He balls his hands up and yells, letting out his frustrations.

"Well then I guess it's a good thing I found you. I was thinking I could possibly help out."

"You wanna help me?"

"Well yeah, I am responsible for you, so I might as well help in any way I can."

"Awesome, can you teach me one of those water jutsu's that you did awhile back?"

"Naruto do you even know your chakra nature?"

"Of course I do, it's wind."

"That's pretty good, lots you can do with the wind. I might know a few jutsu's you could use."

"Really!? Will you teach me them!? Please!?"

"Sure Naruto, I'd love too."
