Amaya's POV:
I've been back to my Jounin status for two weeks now and I'm waiting for the moment the Third sends me out. He's probably doing it on purpose, making me anxious for what's to come.
Other then that I've been taking care of Biscuit, team seven should be back in another week, and then I'll be free from the extra house guest. Now don't get me wrong he's adorable, but he's extremely needy, Kakashi definitely spoils his ninken like crazy.
Speaking of, the dog seems to never stop talking about him, I'm ashamed to say I've almost grown to sort of not hate him. Sometimes the dog even gets a little too deep about the pervs life, I really didn't need to know that he's depressed and has severe insomnia. It's making me actually feel concerned for the dude, not to mention the slight PTSD that takes the form of nightmares -when he does sleep- about the death of not only his teammates, but also his dad. Dudes got trauma, and probably needs to see a therapist.
I'm almost tempted to drug the dog into silence, I could just tell him it's for the pain. Though he's basically all healed, so that's not a solid excuse. At this point I'd do anything to shut him up, the only time it's silent around here now is at night. I just need team seven to get back already. To get rid of the dog, and to move Naruto out of that crappy apartment. I wonder how he'll react? I hope well.

It's finally time, the Hokage sent me a messenger bird, team seven is finally back from there mission. I'm already in Konaha and on my way up the Hokage tower.
I stop in front of the office and knock lightly. The Hokage allows me in and the room turns silent.
"Amaya!" I hear before an orange blob runs into my body.
"Naruto, hey. How'd the mission go?"
"Great! Well sort of." He suddenly looked a little down; it's expected. His first mission was probably tough for him.
"Tell me about it later yeah?"
"Of course!"
"Amaya, you're here rather quickly."
"Of course Hokage-sama. I wouldn't miss my newly acquainted house mates return home." Everyone's eyes start darting around for another person and I let out a small chuckle. "I'm talking about you Naruto." He gasps and looks up at me quickly, still attached to me.
"W...what do ya mean?" He responds unnaturally quiet.
"I mean the Hokage granted me permission to have you live with me." I spoke while caressing his cheek with my thumb, wiping a tear away in the process.
"Why? Why would you do that... for me?"
"I care for you Naruto that's why. Which means you're moving today, I will not allow you to stay where you're at for another minute."
"R..right!" So cute.
"Oh and..." I remove my backpack and set it on the ground. "I heard you were quite worried about this little guy." I spoke while looking at Kakashi, I unzipped the bag and Biscuit ran out towards him. Kakashi quickly picked him up and hugged him.

Kakashi's POV:
The escort mission didn't exactly go as planned. Everyone was injured in some way, and a few people died who didn't exactly need to. But the important thing is we all made it out alive I suppose.
Though I'll admit I was distracted most of the time, I'd sent Biscuit out for recon a couple weeks ago and he hadn't come back. I sent a message to the Hokage who had said that Biscuit was ok, but I couldn't help but worry. My ninken are all I have left, they're practically my family, I'd lose it if one of them died.
Today was the day we got back into the village, the journey back was long and tiring, the kids non-stopped talked, or mostly argued I guess.
We immediately went to the Hokages office to report and hopefully get my ninken returned.
The report was short and to the point, and we were finishing up and making small talk when the door was lightly knocked on. I felt my heart beat faster at the prospect of seeing Biscuit alive and well, I really hope that's who it is anyway.
The door opened and my shoulders sagged, it wasn't him. Though the pretty girl from last time is a plus, her long brown hair that shifts colors when the sun hits it, and her deep green eyes. She's surprisingly tall, getting close to my own height.
"I care for you Naruto that's why. Which means you're moving today, I will not allow you to stay where you're at for another minute." Wait what? What did I just miss, she's going to be Naruto's guardian? The Hokage would never allow that, unless she's a shinobi? That can't be, she's definitely wearing civilian clothing, and I can't see any form of weapon on her. What's going on?
"R...right," well at least he sounds excited. He must know her better than I thought.
"Oh and.." she pauses and takes her backpack off. I tense up thinking she might pull out a weapon of some kind. "I heard you were quite worried about this guy," she stares into my eyes as she puts the bag down. I look down and barely have time to catch Biscuit as he jumps in my arms.
So she's the one who had him? I'm so glad he's ok.
"Boss, glad you're back in one piece."
"Glad you're safe Biscuit." I whisper into his fur, hugging him tightly.
"I'm also glad you're back finally. Your dog is a piece of work." Well that's a bit rude. "How much do you spoil your ninken anyway? All he ate was human food, I'm not some hot shot shinobi that is full of money you know." She scolded with her hands on her hips. She is very beautiful, even with a scowl on her face. I feel my face heat up slightly from the scolding and quickly clear my throat.
"They're all I have, so yeah I spoil them. They're important to me." Fuck, I'm getting emotional. I need to get out of here.
"I see, well then I need to come with you to show you how to dress his wounds correctly." What, no no no, I need to be alone. I can't have her with me.
"No, uhh that'll be fine. I can figure it out, or he can explain it to me."
"Actually boss, it's probably best she explains it. I never pay attention when she does it, she's too fast at it." Seriously Biscuit, you're of no help here.
"Ok, that's fine then. Follow me." She says her goodbyes to Naruto and the others and quickly follows behind me.
The walk to my apartment is silent, every once in awhile she'll glance over at me and then look away, I think she can tell I've got some injuries. I refuse to go to the hospital, the smell is too strong in there and it burns my nose, that and all the other scents bunched together make me sick.
We arrive quickly to my apartment and we both walk in. She gets to work showing me the how to on Biscuit and she finishes in less then ten minutes. Now we both are currently just standing across from each other in my living room in silence.
"So are you just going to stand there, or are you going to show me your wounds?" Shit, she knows. I was hoping she wouldn't, or at least just not mention it.
"Ma, I'm perfectly fine." Right just write it off, I'm fine.
"Please, I know you're lying Hatake. You may be wearing a mask but I can still see you flinch when you inhale. Did you get stabbed in the side? Shouldn't you have gone to the hospital?" I let out a sigh, I guess there's no use in fighting this one.
"Yeah I did, and I don't like hospitals. I was just going to stitch it myself." She lets out a scoff and rolls her eyes, she's upset it seems.
"Well how about I stitch it for you and then hopefully it doesn't get infected yeah?" I nod and slowly peel my shirt off with a grunt and throw it off to the side. "Did that hurt?"
"Yeah a little bit, why?"
"Just making sure you can still feel it, don't need you going numb on me." She grabs the stitching off to the side and starts gently closing my wound. She can do this a lot better then I could have, I'm kinda glad she stayed to help.
