This isn't a part of the chapters. However, it is a peek into how the conversation between Sebastian and Chrissy went. It's a little... hectic to say the least. Chrissy is the overprotective best friend. But, who knows. She might come around.

Enjoy! :)

If A Person Was A Sunflower It Would Be Her

"You're a bitch," Chrissy stated, crossing her arms.

"That was quick," Sebastian deadpanned.

"Sure was," she spat. "If it weren't for Inez, I'd be doing much more than name-calling."

"I know," Sebastian sighed. He was irritated, but he understood why she was acting like that towards him. It made her actions the slightest bit bearable.

"You know that if you continue to be her friend, I'll only get worse, right?" Chrissy warned him, intent on him showing his true colours. She thought that if she pushed him hard enough, he'd snap and finally leave. She wanted that for Inez. Her best friend needed it.

"I'm aware," he answered, tracing the tattoos along his fingers.

Chrissy clicked her tongue, realizing her antagonizing was getting her nowhere. This led her to instead ask him questions that would be difficult to answer. She always was the nosey type, anyway. What better way to annoy Sebastian and collect all of the gossip?

"Why did you come back?" she began.

Sebastian looked up from his hands, surprised. "What?"

"Why did you decide to be friends with Inez again?" Chrissy repeated, crossing her arms and leaning back in her chair.

"I didn't decide," he replied.

Chrissy quirked a brow. "What do you mean?"

"She just slowly crept her way into my life. Before I knew it, I started to care for her. Something I hadn't done for anyone in a long time. I could never bring myself to, until now," Sebastian explained.

Something in Chrissy's chest tightened. It was an unexplainable feeling. She hadn't realized at the time, but it was guilt. And it only began to grow as she pried into him more and more.

"Then why did you abandon her like that?" she questioned, slightly irritated by his way of throwing the word 'care' around.

"Because I was fond of her."

"That doesn't make any sense," Chrissy groaned.

"Someone told me that if I kept Inez close to me, that I'd only end up dragging her down with me. That... worried me."

Chrissy's eyes widened out of shock. She never expected him to admit something like that. Sebastian worried for Inez? This cold-hearted asshole had the capability to do that? The thought silenced Chrissy for quite a while. Making the tension between Sebastian and her grow.
