To start off I'd like to apologize to my readers for how late I've been with my publishing, turns out I might be experiencing writer's block, I knew what it was for a while but I had set aside that thought telling myself I was probably lazy or I didn't know how to arrange the story well. But I'm still trying to write and I'm making sure that my ideas are still intact.
Secondly, I'd like to shed more light on the book 'I'll fix you'. As a book reader myself I know the book seems like it is based on sad and broken souls and in some ways your not wrong. It is about broken people who are trying to fix each other and theirselves in the process. I made it this way because I noticed in most books I read they make the main characters a combination of 'one broken and one trying to fix the broken' and as much as I have no problem with cliche, that alone makes the cliche in the book too predictable and unbearable to read, so I'm giving my characters a chance to help each other from the beginning, they will have to learn that they don't need to be okay to be able to fix each other or themselves, they just need to be there everytime the other reaches his/her breaking point, to say "I'll always be here to put you back together again, as long as we are together, no matter how many times you fall apart I'll put you back together until your strong enough to do it on your own, and I'll still be there even after that." It's me showing just how powerful love is, it doesn't matter who's broken or how many is broken, once the love is true it becomes strong enough to overcome just about anything. I guess when you put it like that it still sounds cliche doesn't it 🤔.
