{A/N:
Just want to go ahead and give you guys a heads up— time in between updates from now on is probably gonna be a bit. I'm about to start my full-time job & will eventually be taking a summer class beginning in July. I will of course still do my best to get updates out ASAP, but it unfortunately won't be as quick as it used to be. I'm sorry :(

Anyways, soft George in this chapter, yay! I feel like I need to write more about him, his feelings, and his own problems that he goes through, so I've done just that in this update. Hope ya like it <3 }

In the blink of an eye, the next day came around which meant two things: Harry and Hermione were arriving at the Burrow and the infamous Quidditch World Cup was finally happening just tomorrow night.

Hermione was the first to make it to the Burrow— she cheerily popped out of the Floo Network in the living room at half past noon. We let her settle in and acquaint herself with new Weasleys she'd never met before first, then spent the rest of the afternoon giving her a proper tour like I'd received the previous day.

Then, around six o'clock, Ron and the twins went with Mr. Weasley to pick Harry up from his home in Surrey. Per usual he was living with the Dursleys, his evil muggle family that's never cared for him much and was probably cheering with excitement over the news that they'd be getting rid of him for the next school year earlier than usual.

The rest of us kids stayed at home while the boys did that and, to pass the time while we waited for their return, we split off and did our own thing. Jasper remained in the house talking with Bill and Charlie while Ginny, Hermione, and I decided to follow Mrs. Weasley out into the yard to spend time with her. There, we helped her feed the chickens and pick out some flowers from the garden that would look nice in a vase on the dinner table tonight.

After half an hour or so, we began hearing faint voices and laughter from inside the house again, signaling to us the boys had returned with Harry. Full of excitement to see our friend again and with happy smiles on our faces, the girls and I headed back inside.

When I stepped through the back door into the kitchen, I found a scene I hadn't quite been expecting. Much to my surprise, Mr. Weasley was enraged, yelling angrily at the twins and they didn't seem to appear too fazed by it. They were grinning and stifling their laughter alongside the other boys who were all seated at the table.

"It isn't funny!" Arthur shouted at them. "That sort of behavior seriously undermines wizard-muggle relations! I spend half my life campaigning against the mistreatment of muggles, and my own sons—"

"We didn't give it to him because he's a muggle!" said Fred indignantly.

"No, we gave it to him because he's a great bullying git," George agreed. "Isn't he, Harry?"

"Yeah, he is, Mr. Weasley," Harry said earnestly.

"That's not the point!" raged Arthur. "You wait until I tell your mother—"

"Tell me what?" piped Molly, who'd just entered the kitchen behind me.

The girls and I parted to let Molly through and every head turned in our direction. The laughter died down and everything went rather quiet when her presence was made known.

"Oh, hello, Harry, dear," she said with a smile, spotting the black-haired boy with green eyes and thick glasses. Then her suspicious eyes snapped back to her husband. "Tell me what, Arthur?"
