Chapter 15 : Vacation

*Shika's POV*
The cool breeze blew my hair as I took in the view of nature. Those from the Master Course were on vacation, so we had the time to relax and have fun. Haruka however had to finish the songs for the president during this time. I offered to help her out, but she insisted that she was okay.

Taking off Syo's hat, I removed my clothes to help with catching fish for the barbecue. Catching a few, I put them in the bucket and stepped out to dry off.

"You gave quite the view during the summer camp mockingbird. Wonder if you've grown since then." Ren mentioning that day made me hide my face with the hat.

"What are you talking about? What happened?" Otoya and Tokiya weren't there to see my state that day. I told them what happened and their faces went red.

"Just let it stay in the past please! That aside, I have a song that I recently completed. I think it's a little too cutesy, but I do like how it came out." I showed them the song I completed.

"It is a bit cutesy, but it's good. Great job Shika-san!" I smiled at Otoya.

"This is adorable! I can't wait to hear you sing it Shika-chan!" Natsuki gave me a bear hug, nearly suffocating me.

Tokiya questioned where I got the idea for the song. Looking at Syo, I said I was inspired by someone so the song came to be. Syo turned to face the other way, but I knew he was blushing.

We heard singing in the distance. Turning to its direction, we saw Cecil up a tree with a music sheet. When he jumped down, we saw the music sheet that was written by Haruka.

Seeing that all of them got music from her made me happy. While we were talking together, Cecil took me to the side.

"Did you confess?" I nodded to him, wearing a smile.

"Who did you confess to?"

"None ya."

"Who's none ya?"

"None ya business." I stuck out my tongue and walked away as he whined about it.

Masato came up with the idea to make some food for Haruka. I liked the idea and so did everyone else. Getting together, we made her a picnic basket and wrote a note for her.

I helped to make the drink for her and carried the basket, thermos and bouquet of flowers to her cabin. Making sure she didn't see me, I placed them on the patio and left.

"You've got this Haruka, I know you can do it."

Walking around the field, I found flowers all over the ground. Sitting down, I used the flowers and made crowns with them. It brought back memories with my mom. Whenever we had time, we would spend it in the meadow and make flower crowns for each other.

Making a bunch of crowns, I lost track of time and saw the sky getting dark. Collecting the crowns, I made my way through the forest. The smell of food caught my attention, so I followed it to find the boys and Haruka along with the food.

Giving out the flower crowns, I put them on their heads. I made one for each of them, even Haruka. I had some for Quartet Night as well, but I was hesitant to give it to them.

"You made flower crowns for us?" I nodded to Reiji, handing them to him. He ran over and put the crowns on their heads. Ranmaru and Camus were about to throw them away, but stopped when they heard I made them. They let out sighs before letting them stay on their heads.
