Alright! I'm back to this book! Now then, you all know the procedure. All images, songs and videos used don't belong to me, they belong to their rightful owners. Before we jump in, lemme add in some stuff.

The way how Shika communicates according to font style will be changing as of today.

This is her singing.

"This is her internal thoughts."

And this will be the notepad.

With that out of the way, let's get started.

*Shika's POV*
The rain pouring down gave off a somber atmosphere at the school. The droplets racing each other down the window had my attention until my teacher called my name.

"Come up and play a song for us Shika-san." Listening to Hyuga-sensei, I rose to my feet and picked up the guitar.

Tuning it, I played the melody for the song I recently made. I made it a low tune to match the atmosphere. Calming my nerves, I wore a smile as I played the song.

"Perfect Shika-san. You may take a seat." Bowing to him, I took my seat and kept my attention to the lesson.

As class ended, we left the room to go to the recording studio to sing our songs. After I did my song, Ichinose went after.

His vocals were mesmerizing, the music was beautiful and the composition was clean. The only thing that stuck out like a sore thumb to me, was the feeling. The lyrics didn't match the feeling I was getting.

Hyuga-sensei stated the same thing I was thinking. His constant reprimanding brought nothing from Ichinose, so he removed him from the S Class.

After the recordings were done, I left to return to my dorm. As I turned the corner, I felt a hand grab my arm.

"Ichinose-san?" He was the one holding my arm. He had a serious expression, his eyes piercing into my own as he remained silent. I titled my head, gesturing for him to say something.

"I have a question for you." I looked at him before leading him to my room. Locking the door, I made him sit on the bed so that we had privacy. Extending a hand, I gestured for him to go ahead with his question.

"Recently, I've been having problems with my songs. The composition, the lyrics, the vocals, all have no issue. The problem however that our teacher said was that I lack heart. He said I should speak to you, since you have the most heart in your songs." My face heated up to hear him say that about me.

Grabbing my notepad, I wrote down that it's all up to the singer. Emotions are very easy to express no matter how hard you try to hide them. Actions, speeches, even your face can give away your true emotions. The music you sing should match the emotions fit for it. I wrote all of this down for him to read.

"How do I express the emotion if I don't feel it?" I wrote down my response in the notepad.

You have to feel the emotion in order to express it. A simple memory can make you feel the emotion. Maybe a friend, a story, or another song. Something to trigger the emotion that will aid in perfecting your songs.

"Your songs have a feeling of happiness and love. How do you trigger them?" The question caught me off guard, so it took awhile to think of a response.

Touching my neck, an idea came to me. Holding the locket, I showed him the image inside of my mother and myself.

"You think of your family to trigger the emotions if needed?" I nodded to him.
