Well hello there! Back with another chapter by yours truly. All images, songs and videos used don't belong to me, they belong to their rightful owners. Let's get into the chapter!
*Shika's POV*
We returned to the agency after our vacation came to an end. News about the Utapri Award and the competition spread like wildfire. All eyes were on Starish and Heavens, since I wasn't involved in the bet. At least, that's what I thought."Miss Shika, I know about your connections with Raging Otori, so we decided to have you included with a separate wager. You will hear the details from his son." He had a serious look, which did not match his personality.
"Then why was I called here president?" He placed the heart stone on his desk. Pushing it forward, he gestured for me to take it up. Picking it up, it started to glow and form into a necklace. It formed around my neck, sitting next to my locket.
"If the goddess of love herself did not get involved, I would've fired both you and Mr. Kurusu on the spot. Seeing as how you were blessed by the Muses and Aphrodite, I can not disobey their orders." I was in the dark for what he was talking about.
"To put it simply, as long as you keep this a secret, you are free to be with Mr. Kurusu. Only those within this agency must know about this. The goddesses have blessed both you and Starish. Disobeying them would spell disasters. You are loved by the gods, so you are valuable to the agency. You're free to leave and good luck with the competition." A big smile spread on my face. Bowing to the president, I ran out the office and made my way to the common room.
I saw Starish, Haruka and Tomo in the room. I waited for them to finish their conversation.
"What did the president call you for Shika?" Syo turned to face me. Wearing a smile, I went up to him and kissed him on the lips. Everyone was understandably shocked by the sudden action. I explained everything to them, wearing a big smile to tell them the news.
"Blessed by the gods of love and music. Mockingbird, you're more special than I thought." Ren came up to me, patting my head.
"I'll say. I would've never guessed this would happen, but I'm really happy! Just promise to keep this within the agency okay?" Everyone nodded in agreement. I looked upstairs to my senpais and asked them to keep it a secret as well. They agreed, making me even more happy.
"All that's left is to get back my voice, then I'll be the happiest girl in the world. Starish, we may be competing, but aim for the top! I believe in you all!" Cheering together, we got hyped up about the upcoming battle against Heavens.
We made our way to the studio where they were interviewing us on the upcoming battle. We spoke about how we felt, our opinions on our opponents and other stuff. Leaving there, we talked to each other more. I asked Haruka to accompany me in my dance practice since I had my song ready.
The appearance of Heavens put a halt to my happiness. Glaring at Eiichi, I crossed my arms as he came closer to me. Bending his back a bit, he looked into my eyes with a smug look.
"Long time no see, baby sister." Everyone was shocked to hear him say this.
"For the last time, I'm not your sister. Your dad is not my father and both of you aren't my family!" Stomping my foot in anger, I only fueled his ego as he laughed at me.
"Maybe not by blood, but we did teach you all you needed to know about music business."
"That's why I went to Saotome Academy, to throw your expectations back in your smug faces." He held my hand, pulling me into him.
"Well, let's see how that goes. I don't remember you being so talkative. Could it be because of this?" The choker left my neck as it hung from his hand.
