Chapter 3 : Help when needed

Heyo everyone! So I really enjoy writing these chapters on the anime, I really hope that my character isn't coming off as a Mary Sue and that you're all enjoying the book. As always, all songs, pictures and the anime don't belong to me, they all belong to their rightful owners. Well then let's get into the story!

*Shika's POV*
I'm late!!!!

I woke up half a hour late, so now I was running, trying to get to the hall on time.

I saw a crowd so I pushed my way through to get to what they were looking at.

I looked up at the board that had the rankings for the recording test.

I scanned the board to find my name, finding it next to the number 90.

Yes, I passed!

I couldn't hold back the urge to jump with joy.

I heard some laughter nearby, so I looked to my left to see Haruka and Tomo hugging each other.

I ran up to them and joined in the hug.

"I saw your name up on the list, you passed as well. Great job with the song!" Tomo pat my head and I smiled at her.

We laughed together until we heard Otoya call out and join us.

As the two had a conversation, I scanned the list again to check for where they were on the list and saw that they passed as well.

Guess my advice really came in clutch.

"Listen everyone!" I turned my attention to Tsumikiya-sensei.

"For those who didn't pass, you'll retake the test next week!"

"This time, take the bull by the horns and do everything you can to pass." Hyuga-sensei added on.

"Before class, kids who are in the idol course, pick up training materials at the office, okay?" Tsumikiya-sensei instructed.

Soon, I'll make my dream a reality. I just need to keep pushing through.

Classes finally began, and I couldn't control the urge to keep looking at Ichinose Tokiya.

I took notice of his presence in class, but I couldn't help but remember that night by the pond.

I know that one of the two are a fraud, but who?

"Kazu-san!" I immediately stood up from hearing Hyuga-sensei call out my name.

"Will you go to the A class and give these papers to the teacher?" He held out a sheet of papers, so I grabbed my notepad and pen.

I took the papers and showed him a page.

"Please stop addressing me by my last name, I take offense to it."

"Understood, Shika-san." I bowed before leaving the class to go to A Class.

I opened the door to see everyone looking to the back, staring at Haruka who was at the piano.

I handed the papers to Tsumikiya-sensei and turned to leave.

"Can she even play the piano?"

"I don't see it."

"That's fishy!"
