Heyo everyone! I hope this book is turning out well to you all, I'm really hyped about it. I don't really have much to say so let's get on to the chapter!

*Shika's POV*
The sound of my alarm echoed in my head, signaling the beginning of the day.

I checked my new phone, seeing a notification for an email.

I opened it to see the email from the company I wrote the letter to.

Dear Ms. Kazu,
Thank you for joining in the project for your new mind translator. We want to make sure you have the best device with no errors or problems, the delivery of your package will be notified to you in two weeks. Thank you for purchasing....

I closed off the message without reading the rest.

Two whole weeks?! It's a good thing that I didn't use my life savings.

I looked out the window, seeing the bright sky reminding me of the season that we're in.

I looked over to the locket on my dresser, opened it to see the image of my mother again.

Time to start off the day again!

I was searching for Syo, he was supposed to follow me to help the others with their dancing because of their test.

Guess I'll go on my own.

I went to the location Haruka gave me and found her by the area with Otoya, Masato and Natsuki, so I got ready and helped with the choreography.

Hearing the music playing, I made sure to keep watch, if they're on beat or if they messed up a step.

Once they finished dancing, I gave them some water.

"How was our dancing?" Natsuki asked as I handed a bottle to Otoya.

"I'm sure the test will turn out fine!" Haruka reassured them but I shook my head, turning to Masato.

He stated that they needed to be more on beat with the music. I agreed and played the parts that Otoya and Natsuki were slow.

"It should be like this."

I danced to the music, matching the moves with each beat.

I heard some girls talking so I turned to see Jinguji being followed by a group of girls fawning over him.

Of course it's him, the flirt.

Before they could go back to their dancing, Jinguji came over with a rose in his hand.

"Good day, Mockingbird." He winked at me but I only grimaced at the act.

"When did you become so cozy with the little lamb?" He walked over to Masato and Haruka.
