I don't know man, I just feel like continuing this book. So now I have three ongoing books on my account. I'll try to update them as much as possible. Now then, all images, songs and videos used don't belong to me, they belong to their rightful owners. Now on to the chapter!
*Shika's POV*
The day back to school was ordinary for me. I hung out with my friends, wrote down ideas, practiced for my auditions, just kept myself busy since we got back.On one hand, I was focusing on the graduation auditions to make my debut. On the other hand, keeping myself busy was also an attempt to keep my feelings at bay.
"Shika-san, you have no one for your partner. Are you sure you want to work alone?" Hyuga-sensei looked at me as I was the only student without a partner.
I'm sure sensei. It's better this way for me anyway.
"Okay, don't push yourself. If you feel overwhelmed, I'm here to talk." Bowing to him, I left the class to head to my dorm.
"Shika! Can we talk?" Syo was at my dorm room door.
"Nope!" Turning my heel, I ran off. He followed suit, tailing me as I tried to get away from him. Turning the bend, I felt him grab my shoulder.
Sadly, there were stairs at the bend. We both lost our balance and fell down the stairs. My head was hurting me since I fell all the way down, but I grabbed my stuff and made a run for it.
"I can't speak to him! I'm avoiding him so that he doesn't make my feelings grow. I need them dead for the both of us!" Running out to the lawn, I stopped to catch my breath. Heading to the gazebo, I sat down to rest myself from the chase.
"It's the first time I've had feelings like this. I know that it's wrong but...why does it feel right?" Looking at the ring, I sighed to myself before looking up at the sky. The memory of the summer camp flashed by.
Taking a deep breath, I sang a verse from the song I wrote. I originally wrote it as an idea from that night. However, I found out the real reason I wrote it. It was for Syo.
"Your singing is beautiful as always." My head whipped around to see Syo with a smile. I tried to make a run for it, but he pinned me against the pillar.
"Shika, why do you keep avoiding me?" He looked into my eyes. I immediately sensed something in his voice. The feeling of guilt filled my body as I realized...he was sad.
I'm trying to focus on the upcoming auditions. So I'm putting all my attention on them. I'm sorry I've been avoiding you, I just need to focus.
I told him half of the truth. I couldn't tell him about my feelings. There's no way I could, it would be the end for the both of us.
"Well, the song you were singing earlier was good. I'm guessing that was the secret song?" I nodded to him.
"Well even if you're focusing on the auditions, you can always come talk to me. I'll be honest, I felt a bit lonely since you started keeping your distance. I'd like to have your company again, if that's okay." His smile was contagious. The bright smile he wore warmed my heart. Leaning off the pillar, I hugged him tightly to me.
"I'll take that as a yes." I nodded as he hugged me back.
"Well, Hyuga-sensei was asking for you. He said that if you already have the song for the audition to go and sing it to him. I'll take you to the recording room." He held out his hand to me. Holding his hand, he led me to the room where our teacher was.
