"Roman?" Colt slowly approached the alpha just sitting there on the couch and his heart broke seeing how 'numb' Roman looked. "Roman? Are you there?"

"Something is wrong." Roman whispered in a monotone voice, a small frown growing on his lips. "She's happy. She's far too happy. Why is she happy?"

"Wait..." Colt faltered as Roman suddenly blinked and grimaced. "You could feel what she was feeling?"

"I was trying to tune into her thoughts but... I couldn't get far. I just..." Roman growled as the black tried to pull him under again. "She's coming. I don't know why."

"Virgil." Roman's eyes shot wide as they suddenly went pitch black making Colt frown. "Roman? Hey!" Roman glanced over at the door and tilted his head a bit.

"Virgil?" There was a knock on the door making Colt jump back. Roman got up to get it only for Colt to put his hand to his chest making him freeze up. "I... Colt I..."

"It's a trap. You know it is." Roman growled in pain as he shook his head making Colt sigh sadly. "Roman..."

"I... I-I can't." Roman pushed forward making Colt have to step back with a sad look in his eyes. Roman felt his whole body flinch as if trying to force himself away from the door but even still the handle turned and there waiting for him on the other side was the love of his life. "Virgil..."

"Hello there, Hun." Virgil lulled softly before leaning in and giving the other a kiss. Roman's eyes flashed red as he wrapped his arms around him pulling him in as close as he could with a growl on his lips. Virgil chuckled as he forced the two to pull away, smiling over how Roman tried to chase his lips. He brushed the other alpha's hair back before just caressing Roman's cheeks. "I've missed you so much, Ro."

"I... I love you." Roman growled before shaking his head and whining. "K-Kai... V-Virg-..."

"I know." Roman whined even louder as Roman winced badly over the black trying to yank him back. "Shh... It's ok, Love. I know it hurts."

"M-Make it stop. Please... I can't... I can't fight it."

"I wish I could Roman. Trust me." Roman met his gaze again making Virgil crash under the black tears that were falling down Roman's cheeks. "I'm sorry, Love."

"She wants you. You can't stay."

"I know she does." Virgil could feel how Roman's grip tightened around his arms as the other alpha subconsciously forced them both further into the house. "It's going to be ok, Ro."

"No. No... You... You need to go. You..." Roman growled as he tried to shake his thoughts out only for Virgil to drown out his mind completely by kissing him again. He didn't care if the sunglasses Virgil was wearing dug into his skin. All he could feel was Virgil's lips against his. "Please, don't let me hurt you."

"You won't. I promise." Virgil sang softly before pulling away and looking over to see Colt standing there with this heartbroken look. "Colt..."

"He's dead. She killed him, Virgil."

"I know. Kai told me what happened" Colt's eyes narrowed in confusion as Virgil just smiled at him softly. "Colt... Your mate's waiting for you." Colt jerked up as Virgil just laughed and nodded. "Go. Before your sister comes..."

"No. I'm not leaving yo-..." Virgil suddenly had him in his arms whispering softly into his ears, so quietly no one else could hear, making Colt start to tear up. "Ok." Virgil pulled away with a sad smile as Colt shook his head letting his tears fall. "Thank you, Virgil... for all you've done for me."

"You deserved it all. Now go be with your mate." Roman blinked as Colt suddenly disappeared and his heart broke realizing what this was.

"You're giving up?" Virgil paused slightly before just tilting his head back so he could see how Roman was breaking. "No. No, you can't. You can't just give up. What about our pack..."

"Our... We never actually joined them."

"SO JOIN THEM!" Virgil jumped as Roman yelled out in desperation. "I don't care. I don't care. Just please... please don't give up."

"Roman-..."

"Join the packs. I'll submit. I swear it. Just please?" Virgil cooed softly as he gently brushed his fingers against the other cheek, melting over how Roman leaned into his touch. "Virgil... please. I need you to do this."

"You'd really give up your position as alpha?" Roman smiled as he looked up with such bright red eyes.

"Virgil for you I'd give up anything." Virgil laughed as he just shook his head making Roman whine. "Please?"

"No." Roman whimpered as Virgil pressed their foreheads together. "Our pack needs an alpha, Roman."

"So that's it. Your just... done? This is your answer... Giving in?" Virgil's eyes never darkened an ounce even as Roman begged him. "Please don't. We can find another way. We can... We can do something else. I... I can't lose you. I can't lose you just to get out of this mess."

"Roman, trust m-..."

"NO!" Roman yelled making his aura flare out, his eyes flashing back and forth as he groaned in pain over everything. "No. No. No... Don't..." Virgil sighed as he nodded, realizing if he was ever going to get Roman to calm down... he had to do what was asked of him. That only hurt him more really... but it had to be done. "Don't, please..."

"Roman, are you sure about this? You've been alpha far longer than I have." Roman nodded despite his grimace.

"She can't use my gifts... if I don't have them." Virgil's heart broke even more as Roman moved to hold the other's arms tightly in his grasp. "I won't have my gifts... if I'm not the alpha."

"Roman-..."

"Do it. Please? I need this." Roman whined as Virgil slowly pulled the other closer. "I need this... us... to be one. I can't lose you." Virgil smiled as he nodded pressing a soft peck to his love's nose listening to how Roman keened into him. "Please? Please, Mi Amor... Mi Alfa." (AN~Don't ask... that's how the translator spelled it hahaha) 

Virgil let his aura lash out surrounding the two of them, making Romanbody shiver under the expanse of it all. Roman purred as he impatiently pressed against him kissing him deeply as he felt that connection deep in him. He could literally see the bonds he had with his pack mates surrounding him. The visions of Patton's and Logan's faces, as they both jolted up in surprise. Roman growled into the kiss as he felt Virgil's aura wrap around his chest binding them all together. Roman didn't hesitate to relent, giving up all control as he just melted into his love. He could feel it. The bond... the link... he could feel as his grasp on his own gift slipped through his fingers as if cold water. He didn't care. All that mattered was they were all finally bound and one. 

"I'm sorry, Roman." Virgil whispered the second they started to pull away making the other blood grow cold the second he glanced up to see Virgil's eyes filled with pain. "But I'm not changing my plans." 

"N-..." There was a sudden knock on the door and Roman's mind instantly went blank as his eyes turned pitch without the slightest fight left in him. Virgil crashed badly seeing how lost his love was but he didn't have a choice. The door cheeked open and Virgil pushed his sunglasses against his face more as he just sighed as pushed Roman behind him.

"Well, well, well... Looks as though you were telling the truth." Virgil frowned as Willow carefully sauntered her way in as if floating on air. "Now... You had mentioned a deal?"
