It's been a long time since then. Several months in fact... Roman hadn't lost his anger at Colt but... He had slowly started to come around. He had to keep telling himself it wasn't him. That Colt was being controlled. It wasn't easy. But eventually, he got to the point where he could be around him and even talk to him without his anger flaring like a wildfire.

Colt was slowly integrated into the pack. Even when he insisted he wasn't a member, that he was dead and that Virgil should just let it go... Colt and Virgil had been training on his gift and even had Roman joining in after awhile. Since Colt was dead he had knowledge that the other wolves did not. Sure he didn't know EVERYTHING but it as still enough to put in some sort of an effort for his pack. Even if he still had a hard time accepting that he was a part of it.

Colt had managed to train Virgil enough to teach him a way to access another wolf's mind without having to kiss them, which made everyone happy in the end. Slowly Virgil helped the others to be able to see Colt. It was always one person at a time. Everyone was informed... even Remus. Actually... Janus and Virgil had pulled Remus aside first before telling anyone else and had spent the entire night trying to talk him and explain it... and then help calm him down after.

Remus was the last to actually see colt. And it wasn't even planned either... They figured Remus wouldn't want to see him for a long time, Janus having chosen to be next after Roman. But when the rat-man pulled them aside and literally begged them to just do it, Virgil didn't really see a choice. At first, Remus didn't tell Colt he could see him. He just sat there observing the man to see what he did, making sure Colt didn't do anything when he thought no one could see him. Eventually, that crashed when Remus found the man crying. Needless to say, the two ended up having quite the long night talking everything out.

After that, it was just about... being a pack. Things were still awkward around Colt. Even Patton had some trouble but soon enough Colt found a friend in him as everyone else did. Dee and Remus had settled down quite well. Patton absolutely adored having more packmates. Logan loved the fact that his love was happy and that his wish for more friends had come true. Virgil... Virgil had grown increadibly close to Roman.

Roman had gotten increasingly concerned.

The two were lying in bed together just cuddling. They both had seprate rooms but it was they weren't by each others side. Virgil found safety in Roman, who he had grown to care deeply for. Roman just coudn't bare to be apart from his love. The two's relationship had grown so much people were honestly surprised they hadn't marked each other yet.

However, everytime someone brought it up, Roman was quick to shut it down. He shut it down faster th/en anyone could even blink in suprise.

Virgil frowned as he glanced up seeing Roman laying there nearly asleep. He could feel how overheated Roman was. Colt was right. It wasn't going away. In fact it was getting worse and he could see it. Roman looked sick. Sure he always had that bright beaming smile on his face but... Virgil started to feel like it was faked. Roman was pasty and feverish all the time. There were times he'd be in pain or lose his breath. Many times he'd pulled away from Virgil and just walked away with some half assed appoligy. Virgil knew Roman loved him. He knew. He didn't have to be scared about that. But... He felt like maybe it was his fault.

Maybe he hadn't shown him yet... just how much he's grown to love him.

"Roman?" That's what he wanted to do now. He wanted to reassure his mate of how he felt. He didn't want Roman thinking Virgil might still be against him. He just... He wanted Roman to be truely happy with him, you know? "Ro?" Virgil pushed himself up off of him as Roman's eyes fluttered a bit.

"Hmm?" Virgil giggled as he leaned in and pressed a gentle kiss to his lips. Almost instantly the sleepy alpha pressed up against him. The two pulled up Roman chasing his lips, as they both sat up. Roman purred as Virgil deepened the kiss giggling more as Roman fingers curled up in his hair. "Virgil?" Roman let out a soft sigh as Virgil pulled away just enough to let Roman breathe. "Now... Now that's a way to wake up." Roman laughed as looked up into his loves eyes and just melted seeing them shifted and glowing purple. "I love you."

"I love you." Roman's eyes went wide, never having actually had the words returned to him yet. Virgil just smiled as his hand went to Roman's cheek cooling his burning sking like ice to a hot pan. "And I'm not done showing you how much yet."

"Virg..." Virgil reconnected their lips as he threw his leg over, straddling Roman as he growled. He could feel his wolf practically vibrating in him as it pressed against him making his love moan out a breath. "V-Vir..." Virgil bit Roman's lip lightly with a softly chuckle before moving to press a kiss to his jawline. Roman's eyes rolled back as he let out a rumble from his chest. Virgil could literally feel Roman's wolf reacting, begging, pleading him to continue. His body now on autopilot he plasters his love with small little peck melting into the feeling of how Roman latched onto him desprately. "V-Virgil... Wai-..." Roman groaned as his mind fell muddied under his urges. Tears pricked at his eyes. Tears of need over having waited for so long. He needed this so much but... Also tears of panic. His anxiety tore through him but he couldn't stop it. He needed it just to damn much.

"I love you." Virgil whispered as he met with the crook of Roman's neck making the man below him gasp and shudder. Virgil grazed his teeth over the spot his wolf coming out full force, eyes glowing brightly, as he kiss the spot making Roman go mad.

"Please." Roman couldn't stop the words from spilling out. Even with his panic tearing him apart he couldn't stop them. "Please. Virgil, please?" Roman groaned in need as he shook in Virgil's arms. "Please, my love." Roman bit his tongue harshly to stop himself from crying out as Virgil moved to mark him. His whole body seemed to come alive with energy and tears fell from his eyes as Virgil pulled away letting Roman fall back against the pillow. "V-Virge?" Virgil smiled as Roman's eyes fluttered. Roman could feel his body going lax as this blanked fog came over his mind, pulling him under. "Virgil?"

"It's ok, Roman. I'll see you when you wake up, ok." Virgil watched as his mate slowly fell asleep and he sighed happily. "I love you, Roman."
