Knock Knock
Phana was standing in front of ming's unit apartment, waiting for Ming to open the door. it's been a month since Kit ghosting Ming, and since then almost every day Phana comes to Ming's apartment, just to make sure he is ok, sometimes he brings a chicken congee, chicken noodle, or if he's on cheat day he brought a bucket of fried chicken.
"You don't have to do this P'" he said when he opens the door "I'm doing fine"
"Satay?" Phana smiled when he shows ming 2 portions of satay in his hand
"C'mon in"
different than its usual, Phana didn't come home after he finishes his dinner
"You are not going home for Christmas?" Phana asked
Ming shakes his head "I never liked Christmas" Phana look at him "What?" Ming asked him "I don't like the idea kids get fools just for a toy," Ming says "well I don't like it when I was kids"
Phana laugh, "Nobody does"
"It's stupid you know, acting good all year long to get a present and sometimes it's not something that we wanted," Ming says to Phana when Phana clean up the table "and don't get me started on ugly Christmas sweater"
"Why? it's cute"
"I mean who looks good on a bright green sweater with bright red stripes on it, look!" Ming shows a picture of him wearing an ugly Christmas sweater that kit gave on their first anniversary "I better be a traffic light, you know"
"That was actually mine," Phana says out of the blue "he bought it for 10 dollars"
"Sorry" Phana says when Ming started to change his expression
"It's okay P', Let me get it for you" says ming
"No, keep it," Phana says "it's my Christmas gift for you"
"well, technically it's mine, but ok"
Ming and Phana moved to the couch, they watched all episode of How I Met Your Mother in season 4, "Maybe I have to do the intervention to forth and beam" says Phana
"Why?"
"They too much banging" Ming squinting his eye "what? every morning I have to face Beam's glowing face, it's annoying you know"
"by the way," says Phana when ming focused on the TV, Ming looks at Phana "what's your plan for tomorrow"
"Christmas eve?" Phana nods "nothing, just here, alone, why?"
