After the Daichapayas and Phana entered the building, It was a sign that the red carpet started, the whole event took nearly 2,5 hours. Ming, Phana, Sandra, and Simon are standing under the centerpiece to welcome all the guests.
"W.O.W," Shouted Ming when the first time he entered the great hall "That's a big tree," he praised a massive 16 meters tall tree showered with gold light and surrounded by white reeds and green tulips.
"That's called tree-of-heaven." Phana answer
"I Know," Ming says "My family owns that tree." he continues to want to explain the old money trees during the '20s
"It's from Puri de Daichapaya." says Phana before Ming explains the trees
"My mom must love you," says Ming, he remembers when he was a kid, nobody touched Sandra's orchid in her garden "and by the way," Ming continues and sniffs "nice smells."
"Thanks!" says Phana "It's my usual perfume."
"The room, Phi."
"Oh," Phana sighs "It tuberose and shredded rose and pandan Leaf."
When Phana and Ming done greeting everyone inside the hall, they go back to the centerpiece joining Sandra and Simon welcomes the guests who just arrived. When they arrive a cheered crowd is screaming from outside super loud, even making the guest inside is curious about all the screaming outside.
"Oh, not her!" Ming grumble
"Who?" ask Phana
Ming is pointing to a gorgeous young lady in her mid 20 wrapped in a white cape crepe gown by Stephane Rolland walking on the red carpet stairs "Agni," Ming says "the former beauty queen, the youngest beauty queen we ever had, the one who built schools for more than 500 girls in 3 countries, the actress, singer, and philanthropist" Ming explains "and also the girl my mother set me up for the last two years."
"Well...," says Phana "Your mother loves her." he continues while pointing at her, who has a big grin smile on her face.
"Phi..." says Ming heavily.
"And look at their dress, color-coordinated." Phana stated when he pointed to Sandra's white Carolina Herrera shirt-ball gown with green handmade embroidery.
"Phi..." says Ming heavily again.
"Oh, C'mon," says Phana "you say you wanted a family," he continues "she is the perfect match."
"Phi..." says Ming heavily again while looking at Phana
"C'mon," Phana says "That'll be fun."
"She is not my type."
Phana gasp "NOT YOUR TYPE?!" Ming just nodded
And when Agni reaches the front door, Ming frowns, not because his mother tried to set him up with her but because they only had a few small talks.
"That was odd" says Ming when Agni just passed him
"What's odd?"
"My mom," he responds "last year, she even accompanied Agni looking for me" he adds "This year, it just PUFT."
