Y/N woke up with a massive headache the next morning. She felt horrible, as if she had been out drinking for the entire night and just fell into bed when she got back without even changing out of her clothes. She knew that wasn't what happened, but that's what it felt like, if she was honest.

She opened her eyes slowly, afraid of what she might see. The last thing she remembered was a nightmare she was having. It wasn't one of the extremely bad ones, but it was still memorable enough for her to be absolutely terrified. She tried to remember details, but she couldn't.

Y/N tried to take her surroundings in, as she was slowly waking up. She wasn't at her uncle's house and she also wasn't at her boyfriend's apartment, which was good. Anywhere was better than those two places. It took a little while for her to realize that she was in her own room at the teahouse.

Shouta was next to her, still fast asleep. Y/N felt a little nauseous thinking about everything that she had told him last night. Was he... was he going to hate her now? Did he think differently of her? Did he think badly of her because all those things happened to her? Because she tried to kill herself? Y/N didn't know. She didn't know whether she wanted to know.

She didn't remember too much of her telling him everything. She just remembered that it felt odd to be so open about everything. She had felt vulnerable, but she weirdly knew that Shouta wouldn't hurt her. She just knew. It was odd how she felt safe with him. Then again, she had felt safe with her ex, too. Before he became as controlling as he was. And if she thought about it, she was safer with him than back at home with her uncle. But it was nowhere near safe.

Well, now she was here with Shouta and so far nothing bad had happened to her. Maybe this was good... maybe she'd finally found a place where she was actually safe. It was just such a terrifying thought to trust someone so much and to be so vulnerable with them. Y/N wasn't used to it.

But Shouta had been nice about it, hadn't he? He had told her that he cared about her. Right? And he meant it, too. At least that's what it sounded like to Y/N. But then... everyone else had told her that they cared about her, too. And they never did anything that showed they cared. Not even close. Why should Shouta be different? Y/N glanced over at his sleeping form.

He looked so peaceful... Could Shouta really be the same as those two? Y/N couldn't believe it. And she didn't know why she was getting doubts now. Shouta had never done anything to her. Maybe it was just that seeing those two in the teahouse yesterday... it was like it had broken something inside Y/N and she didn't even know whether that was good or not.

But she had decided to trust Shouta a long time ago. So why couldn't she just stick with that now? Plus, Shouta really deserved a chance. He had helped her out so much over time. Y/N was just terrified that things might turn out the same way as they did all those years ago. She had no idea what she would do or where she would go if that happened. She could just hope everything would be fine.
