Y/N knew that this was a stupid argument. She had no idea why she was being so stubborn about this, because she knew that Shouta was right. It was just... the way he had said that was so hurtful that Y/N preferred to just stay out in the garden, doing some work that no one needed to be done just so she didn't have to be around Shouta. And by the time she had calmed down...
Well, by the time she had calmed down she was kind of ashamed that she had been so stubborn. That she had gotten so upset about everything. And especially that she had left Shouta all alone at work. It was almost time for the teahouse to be closed up by that time and Y/N knew that she would have to apologize to him. It wasn't fair on him that she had just walked out like this.
The thing was... she was going to therapy and she was doing the thing and... she just wasn't sure if it was helping. She wasn't sure if she clicked with the therapist that she had, she wasn't sure if she wanted to tell her all about her deepest and darkest secrets and everything that had happened to her. But she also didn't want to be picky and complain about everything.
It was just not that easy to somehow tell Shouta this. Sure, it was easy for him to say to just stick it out and get better. He wasn't in the same situation as her. He didn't know how terrifying all of this could be. And Y/N understood it - it wasn't such an easy thing to get and she knew how frustrating she could be when she was feeling depressed or moody about something.
Maybe she should just go back inside and try to talk to Shouta. Calmly, this time. She was sure if she explained it properly he would understand and everything would be fine again. But just the thought of facing him again after making such a scene about this made her feel horrible. Looking back she had been incredibly childish about everything. Sure, she was hurt, but... ugh.
Well, this problem wouldn't solve itself either way. She'd have to go back inside, talk to Shouta and apologize for being so stubborn and especially for not talking to him all day and not helping out in the teahouse. And then they could talk. Y/N just hoped that Shouta was willing to talk to her.
With a sigh she got up from the bench she had been sitting on and made her way back inside. Shouta was probably already closing up, so it would be quiet and they'd have enough time to talk. Y/N quietly walked inside and closed the door behind her. The hallway was dark, but there was a light coming from the main room. It seemed like Shouta was still up and working.
Y/N glanced around the corner and saw Shouta standing in front of the sink alone, washing the cups. He had already closed up then. Y/N smiled as she saw him, hoping that he would be talking to her and not be too angry with her. She couldn't imagine that he would still be mad at her, but she could never know.
"Hey, Shou." she said quietly. Shouta turned around and gave her a surprised look, before turning back to his dishes.
"You're back?" he asked. Y/N sighed. She had no idea whether he was still mad at her or not. It was almost impossible to read him right now and it was making her nervous that she didn't know how he was feeling.
