Blue eyes (Niall Horan Love story)

Chapter 8

The words run through my brain like sandpaper. 'He has a girlfriend' Who is this girl? I need to know so I can rip her into pieces. She ruined Sofia and Josh's future, they were meant to get married and have adorable babies. Me and Kalli ha- sorry, Kalli and I! have always planned out their future together.

Standing up I walk really fast out of the room with my fists clenched. If I clenched my fists even more I reckon I could start to draw blood. Walking into the kitchen/lounge room area, I stand in front of Josh with an annoyed expression on my face.

Josh backs up a bit and bashes into the wall. 'Ellie your freaking me out. Please stop making that face at me.' He says trying to cover his face with his hands.

'Wow, you look like Clove when you do that' Kalli says obviously awake now, walking around to have a side view of us. 'Except the eyes though. Well I guess it's the gesture your-'

'PUT A SOCK IN IT KAL' I say turning my head to her. Kalli steps back obviously noticing the angry fire in my eyes. Believe me Kalli can be a pain in the butt sometimes.

Moving closer to Josh so I'm not to far away from him, I slowly turn my head to the side. 'I was in my room talking to Sofia Josh' I begin Josh's eyes widen like one of those people that you find in horrors who always are freaking out and nods 'Well I was talking to her and she told me tha-'

'DON'T TELL HIM ELLIE! You promised!' Sofia yells running into the room. Why do people jump to conclusions so fast? I wasn't going to tell him that she liked him. That'd be just plain wrong. Rolling my eyes I turn around to face her 'Sof I'm telling him something else'

The relief rushed through her eyes and her gesture showed that she had calmed down. 'Don't tell him' She says again.

'I wont I wont' I say trying to calm her down with my had. Josh puts his hand in the air. 'What secret?' He asks.

'Never you mind' I say turning back to him. Wow I've done a lot of turning today. 'Now please explain to me why, when I was talking to Sofia' I add. 'That she told me that you had a girlfriend? HUH?!'

The whole room went quite and you could tell that someone was going to burst into some kind of noise. The quite was little awkward and annoying to me but I went through it and didn't complain.

'Aka-Awkward' Kalli said under her breath. We all turned to look at her and started to laugh. Feeling the little bit of pain shoot up my side from laughing. I grab my side and lean against the wall. Josh is chuckling next to me like a serial killer while Sofia is sitting on the couch leaning back and laughing.

I suddenly turn around and place my hands on Josh's stomach. Josh flinches at my move and his eyes fall down at my hands. 'Who is she?' I say while moving my hands up his stomach as a joke. Josh starts to try to get away. Laughing I take my hands away. 'I'm your sister Josh take a chill pill and tell me who she is'

He fumbles his hands in his pocket looking for something and pulls out a piece of paper. 'Here' he says quickly shoving it towards me. On the paper was a picture of a girl. She was standing on a pier on a sunny day which looked like it was in Italy. She was leaning against a pole with her head behind her a little laughing. The wind was making her light brown/coppery straight long hair move in the wind. She had dark brown eyes and was showing all her teeth. To people she may of looked pretty but to me I didn't find her that pretty, she looked like she was going to jump out of the picture and bite my head off. 'Her names Blair'

'Wow she's..'

'Horrible!' Kalli says snatching the picture off me. 'She looks as if she wants to bite me'

'Kalli!' I say turning around. Kalli looks at me innocently and shrugs her shoulders. 'What? She does'

'She's niceish looking' I say trailling off.

'And she's nothing compared to Sofia' Kalli goes on. Josh flashes Kalli a look and walks up to her. 'What do you mean she's nothing compared to Sofia?' Kalli smirks and folds her arms.

'I mean that you should stop going out with this girl and for once in your life open your eyes and look at what has been in front of you for years. Ellie agrees with me.' Josh spins around and looks at me. His brown eyes looking like they are on fire. Our mother has Blue eyes, and Dad has Brown eyes, I got mum's features while Josh got dad's.

'Hey keep me out of this' I say walking back down the hall into my room and picking up my books. I feel really sorry for Sofia. She has to see her childhood best friend now crush, going out with this girl who I don't think looks the nicest. But as mum always says 'Don't judge a book by it's cover' I want to meet Blair and get to know her. Maybe she's a really nice innocent girl who is really nice and I'll like a lot. But maybe she'll be a right out bitch. I'm hopping for the first one. It'd be horrible knowing that the girl my brother is dating is a right out bitch.

'Ellie?' Comes soft knocks on the door. I stand up from packing my bag and open it. Sofia comes in brushing past me softly. I can hear Josh and Kalli still talking except their not arguing anymore. Kalli and Josh like each other but usually they have arguments about little things. Like who gets the last slice of pizza, and whether Football or Basketball is better. Right now their arguing about whether Chocolate or Cheese is better.

'Whats up?' I ask moving over to my desk and putting my pens and pencils gently into my pencil case.

'Why did they have to start to argue about me while I was in the same room?' Sofia asks lying down on my bed and facing the roof.

Sighing I zip my pencil case up and put it in my bag. 'I don't know Sof, we should properly not think about it to much.' Sofia nods and closes her eyes.

'Are you gonna lie there? Cause I've got to run.'

Her eyes open up really quickly and she turns to me. 'Where are you going?'

'Food class' I say pulling my shoulder bag over one of my shoulders. Straighting out and grabing my cup of tea, I walk out of the room down the hall into the kitchen drinking the rest of the tea. I walk past Kalli and Josh saying bye and walk out of the room to my first class.

'Miss Devine would you please get off your phone and concentrate on this lesson' Mr Tucker said. Mr Tucker is an old fart of a teacher of mine who teaches my food class. He's a short fellow who goes on about boring facts about food. I have a friend in foods called Ziara. We usually sit in the back when we aren't cooking and chat about things. But today Ziara wasn't here today so I had to be in that class by myself. I've been talking to Niall on my phone for the past about twenty minutes while Mr Tucker has been going on about tomatoes and how they are red.

Rolling my eyes I tuck my phone into my pocket and lean back in my seat. 'Yes. Sorry Mr Tucker.' I say bored. A guy called Andrew who is sitting in the front puts his hand up.

'Yes Sandher' Mr Tucker asks.

'Mr Tucker I think Ellie should have her phone taken off her and be told to sit up front.' Mr Tucker shakes his head. 'Last time I did that she fell asleep in front of my class and didn't wake up when I told her. I'll let her stay up their and be bored'

Andrew nods and turns around to look at me. I smirk at him and he goes bright red like his hair with anger. Andrew has always had some kind of problem with me for as long as I first put a foot in this class. I think it's cause I went to the same high school and we had a misunderstanding. But that is a story I will explain later. He is a goody too shoes and always tries to get me into trouble.

I yawn as Mr Tucker goes on and look out the window at the people outside. There was only three people outside. One was a girl with long hair she seemed to be holding hands with a guy with dark brown hair. The other was a guy with blonde hair walking into the campus with a little parcel in one of his hands and his phone in the other. He was wearing jeans and a t-shirt with black ray bands on. He looked vaguely familiar. I shook my head and felt my phone go off in my pocket. I quickly wait until Mr Tucker is facing the board and swiftly snatch my phone up to be in front of my pencil case. I unlock it and see that it's Niall.

I smile and lock my phone again. I was smiling like an idiot for the whole three lessons of Food, Phsycology and English.

When I walked back into Eleanor's and my room I see that Kalli has gone out, Josh has left a note on the table saying that he is going out with Sofia. Sighing I place my bag on the couch and walk up the hallway. I bump into Eleanor as I walk up to my room.

'El. Thank god I found you' Eleanor says breathlessly. 'I was walking past your room when I saw something on your bed. I don't know what it is.'

'Are you not going to look at it and start freaking out because you saw a horror movie with Louis earlier?' I ask crossing my arms.

'Maybe, maybe not. But please go, go'

'Fine' I mutter. 'If you are so scared of it.' Walking into my room I find a little parcel on my bed with a letter. So much for scary thing in my room. This must be what Niall was talking about. He was the guy I saw walking up through the campus! I pick up the letter and open it.

Dear Ellie,

How has College doing? I hope it's going fine. I know I only saw you last night and it seems like I haven't seen you in years but I want to make sure you do see this. I want you to know that last night was one of the best nights of my life. Usually at a concert I go up to the balcony by myself and think about how my princess could be out their somewhere. But last night I did take someone up their. And you weren't just some girl I meet and plan on never meeting again. You are a girl I want to meet heaps of times in the future. Would you please meet me on Wednesday at the lake opposite the primary school. Wear something nice but nothing fancy. at 7:00. I hope you like your present I got you.

P.s. My friends little sister is needing to be babysat soon and I said you could. I'll come over with you and help you. That little bet of ours can be answered.


Smiling I place the letter down. I felt myself awwing inside but I could hear awwing out loud. Eleanor was looking at the letter awwing at it. I pick up the parcel and feel it. It felt hard and like a box. Opening it I found a necklace and bracelet in it. I gasp at them both and their beauty. The necklace was a little silver shell on it. Niall must of remembered me saying I love the beach and collection shells. The bracelet was a charm bracelet. It had two charms on it already. One was a dog, while the other was a little deathly hallows symbol.

'Aww these are so cute' Eleanor says looking at them both. 'He's so sweet' Nodding I place the bracelet on and put the necklace around my neck. I smile and turn around to Eleanor.

'Someone needs a hug!' Eleanor says. Walking over to me she gives me a big bear hug. She pulls apart from me laughing and walks out of my room. I lie down on my bed taking the note and smiling more and more as I read the note over and over again.
