Luke was the one carrying Michael back to his apartment, having Ashton and Calum walking alongside him on the busy streets.

"And why exactly are we bringing him back to his own home? I thought the point of all of this was to bring him back to ours, break him, play with him. C'mon I thought that was the plan!" Calum exclaimed as they walked, hands waving around in exaggeration.

Luke groaned and glared at him.

"Any louder Calum, let everyone in New York know."

"Sorry I just-.. what is the plan exactly?"

"Well, you were right Cal. We are gonna break him.. by driving him insane." Luke spoke as he looked down at the sleeping boy in his arms. He looked oddly peaceful considering the situation he was in only minutes prior.

"Alright, and how exactly do you plan on doing that when you're bringing him back to his own place?"

"Well, I'm glad you asked. We're bringing him home to make it seem like he's never saw us to begin with. I want to break him Calum, make him think he's seeing things."

Calum glanced at his partner before looking over at Ashton who hid a smirk.

"You're fucking evil. But I mean.. it may work. He might think it's the effect of the pills."

"Exactly, look at you finally catching on." Ashton spoke tauntingly, leading the group into a run down apartment building. They knew where Michael lived, just like they knew where everyone else lived. Especially when it came down to their business and stance in such a dangerous industry. They needed to know incase anyone tried to rip them off, which Michael has been.

Luke did the calculations earlier, seeing that Michael was over 1K in debt.

They went up to the third floor, opening the door to Michaels shitty apartment, seeing as the black haired boy really found no need in locking it. There was nothing there of value anyways, except for his stuffed lion named Daniel.

Luke set the boy on the bed, grimacing at the state of the apartment. Compared to his luxurious life, Michaels living conditions were barely viable.

The blonde turned around to see Calum and Ashton looking through the boys pantry, snooping through shelves and cupboards. Luke was confused, before he saw the two pull out a pack of gum and a single water bottle from one of them.

"What the fuck?" Calum mumbled as he finished looking through the rest of the shelves and cupboards. That was all. No wonder Michael weighed close to nothing, he didn't eat. The money he would've bought himself something to eat with, was spent on drugs. This wasn't some crazy assumption made by them either, Michael admitted that himself.

The hazel haired man set the things back on the counter, sighing.

"That's pretty fucking pathetic if you ask me, the kids skin and bones." Ashton stated, as if they didn't already know.

Luke scoffed and set the bag of pills on the window sill, going to go look around the small boys apartment with the other two. They were almost disappointed in Michael for not taking care of himself, but at the same time, this would make their mind games with Michael so much easier.

"Find any cash?" Calum asked as he emerged from the bathroom. The two shook their heads as the blonde went to go look through the closet. The closet held a raggedy flannel, two other pairs of jeans, and a few shirts.

This was nothing compared to their closets at home, he felt repulsed.

They all met back in the middle of the apartment, since the apartment was basically one room. The three men looked at each other before looking at the sleeping boy on the bed.

"Maybe we should just bring him back with us Luke. I mean.. these aren't very livable conditions. I want to be the one to kill him, not starvation or... whatever diseases live here." The tanned man spoke, eyes trailing to the resident that lived here.

Michael clutched the small lion tightly in his hands, sleeping peacefully for the first time in months, but the three men didn't need know that.

"No, he stays here. We'll just have to be more observant with him."

"And how will we do that without being caught?" Ashton asked.

Luke chuckled and looked at the older man, as if his question was purely ridiculous.

"We aren't hiding from him Ash, it's our goal for him to see us. Last thing he saw was us, and when he wakes up he'll be back here. He won't remember much, but I'm hoping that when he sees us again, he'll be scared."

"That's when the real fun starts, huh Hemmings?" Calum asked, crossing his arms.

"Indeed it is, and from there on out we'll make his life a nightmare. Hopefully, we cross him again in his high state, because after a bit of manipulation and playing, we can properly take him as ours."

Ashton nodded and pushed past his taller boyfriend, kneeling on the floor to examine the small boy. The way his small, boney, hands have stopped shaking, clutching onto that bear for dear life. He scoffed, taking the small bear out of the boys hands before walking back up to the other two.

"Since he has nothing of value, we'll take something he seems to love more than drugs. This scuffed up play toy." Ashton said, almost disgusted to touch it.

The two looked at honey haired man as if he was once again, an idiot.

"That's truly the dumbest thing I've ever heard."

"Well.. did you see the way he held onto this thing? Maybe this can help us in the long run, lure him in when he's at his lowest. Don't act like you've never had a security toy or blanket of some kind, Luke."

The blonde shrugged his shoulders, well aware that he did have a security blanket up until the age of twelve, but at this point it was just absurd for a young man like Michael to have such a thing. It was childish, and immature.

He thought it was stupid.

"Fine, take the bear and let's go. Leave a five dollar bill on the kitchen counter. Hopefully he's smart enough to spend it on food to keep him alive long enough for us to play with him."

Calum nodded and pulled his wallet out, leaving that amount on the counter top before turning back to the two.

"Shall we head back? I need a drink."

Ashton grinned and nodded, making his way out with the aged plush. It was around 11PM now, the perfect time for drinking and planning, he thought.

Luke followed along, turning to look at their new play thing one last time. A small frown settled upon his thin and chapped lips, probably feeling the discomfort of his support system being taken away from him.

A sinister smirk settled on the blondes face, glad to have already impacted the boys shitty life.

Things looked like they were going to work in his favour.
