Ph1 Ch31: The Radiant Signal Tower

The knight woke up from the fall into the dream realm. It stood up, and looked around. It looked like it was in any ordinary part of the dream realm, but something stood out. A light. A large, blazing, radiant light loomed over the area. The knight saw a few platforms in the area with them, and it began to climb them. It got to the top platform, and drew its nail, facing the light.

Wings emerged from the light, and the sky of the dream realm began to shake. The wings spread out, as the light increased. Suddenly, in a brilliant flash of light, the entity appeared before the knight, revealing her true form, and giving out a radiant roar. The Radiance had finally shown herself.

"ANCIENT ENEMY!" The Radiance Roared. "SO YOU'VE COME TO DEFEAT ME? TO ERASE MY EXISTENCE SO THAT I MAY BE FORGOTTEN?" she bellowed.

The knight swiped its nail across the air, and got into attack position.

"VERY WELL," The Radiance cried. "HAVE AT YOU!"

The Platforms above the main piece of land disappeared, and the knight fell to the floor. It got itself back up, and the Radiance appeared before it. The knight leapt up, striking the Radiance with its nail. She warped away, and summoned sharp spikes to come from the right. The knight leapt through an opening in the wall of spikes, and continued to strike her. The Radiance teleported to the other end of the battlefield, where she sent more spikes from her main body at the knight.

The knight avoided the spikes, and The Radiance summoned small sun orbs, and sent them spiraling towards the knight. The knight did its best to avoid the suns, making them crash into the floor beneath it, but it managed to get hit by one of them. It couldn't afford to take hits. Its health was restored, but now it only had four masks left. The knight leapt up to the Radiance, and let out an abyss shriek, severely damaging her.

"AZATHOTH! I CALL UPON YOUR AID!" The Radiance yelled.

Suddenly, the knight found it was unable to move. It was held by some strange force, and couldn't even move its arm. It needed to figure out what was causing this, but it was completely immobilized. The knight stood there, as the Radiance powered up a large blast of light.

Mono POV

Mono looked at his friend, as it lied down on the floor with the Hollow knight. He shook them, trying to get them awake. What was it doing? Mono tried to get them up, but suddenly, the room began to shake. Mono looked, and saw the walls around him were crumbling, and revealing an entity all too familiar. The Flesh entity Azathoth. One of the creatures several eyes looked at the knight, and an orange beam shot from it, hitting the knight.

"NO!" Mono yelled. He was not going to let his friend die. They had come so close, they couldn't afford to fail now!

He ran towards the eye, his ladle in his hands. He climbed up to the eye, and started batting it with his ladle. He slammed it onto the eye three times, until the eye went gray, and the beam faded away. But his problems didn't stop there. Two more eyes came out, and shot their own beams at the knight. Mono ran over to the closest eye, and started violently swinging his ladle into it.

"Leave my friend alone!" He yelled.

The second eye went gray, and Mono ran over to the last one. He beat the eye with his ladle, and once it went black, the walls began crumbling even further, revealing the flesh from behind. Suddenly, the floor under the knight was picked up, and pushed into the air by a tower of flesh. 

"Hey! Give them back!" Mono yelled, and he began chasing after the knight.

Knight POV

The knight braced itself for the attack, but suddenly, its movement returned! It scrambled out of the way of the Radiance's blast, and began striking her once more.
