I suddenly wake up in a different place, and I end up coughing up water. I look around after I stop coughing and it looks like I'm in some sort of medical room. Am I back at the Manor? I hope I am, but what the hell happened? After a whole bunch of water came rushing into that one room, I blacked out.
"Hey, take it easy. You had a wipeout," I hear Storm say as I feel her place her hands on my shoulders.
"What even happen?" I ask in between small coughs.
"That damn girl dumped a whole bunch of water on us. The doctor said you didn't ingest too much water, which is good," Storm says as I sit up.
"What about Icarus?" I quickly ask as I look over at her. All she did was shake her head.
"There was no way I could've gotten to him unless I had you drown and there was no way I was going to let that happen," Storm answers.
"What are we going to do?"
"First, figure out who the hell this girl is and come up with a plan."
"Do Hells just normally kidnap Fighters?" I ask.
"Yup. Don't be surprised if you get captured at least once by a Hell."
"That's good to know..." I say in a low tone.
"See that you're all right, let's go talk to Merc. We need to see if he came up with something about our threat."
"And yet you wanted me to train with water," I say as I get out of the bed I was in.
"Hey, it'll help. I wouldn't have to save your ass," Storm says as we walk out of the medical room.
"Will I be able to breathe underwater or something?" I ask as we enter the kitchen.
"Maybe, but it will likely make you be able to hold your breath longer and make you more water tolerant than before," Storm answers as we went down to the basement.
"But how often do we usually go to aquatic places?"
"Depends on what you're dealing with and what group you're in. It's still good to know the element."
"Okay," I say, then we went over to Merc who was on the computer.
"So, who the hell are we dealing with?" Storm asks Merc.
"There's not a whole lot on her yet, but we got a name. She calls herself Flood and it seems like she's planning something big," Merc answers.
"What is that? Is it something I have to deal with or can another group handle it?"
"Unless you want the whole city underwater?" Merc says sarcastically.
"Fuck... Guess we'll have to handle her," Storm says to me.
"You think I can be able to handle it? You saw what she did to us and you had to drag me back here," I say.
"I know you can handle it. Just believe in yourself," Storm says.
"Let me guess, you didn't get him back?" Merc asks.
"No, we might have to try again tomorrow or later," Storm answers.
"Is she holding him for ransom or something?" Merc asks.
"More like a goddamn trophy," Storm says with a little anger in her tone.
"Means she's into him," Merc says as he was working away on the computer.
"You are right," Storm says with a sigh.
"Good luck," Merc says as Storm was going towards the stairs.
"Always," Storm says sarcastically as I catch up with her and we went up the stairs.
