My eyes flutter open since it was starting to become light out. My eyes widen as I find myself staring at a certain someone's chest because my face was in it. However, my whole body was touching his and he has his arms wrapped around me. Maybe I should've made a wall of spears instead...

"What the hell?" I say out loud and Hunter starts moving. I try to carefully remove his arms from me, but his grip ends up tightening, and I try to push him away even though nothing was working. "Okay, guess not..."

"Trying to escape from me," Hunter says as his grip tightens even more. If he keeps tightening his grip, he's going to end up suffocating me.

"Because one, you're way too damn close, and two, get the hell off of me before you suffocate me!" I yell as I push him off, and he finally lets go of me. "And I told you to never cross that line!"

"You were tossing and turning, you were having a nightmare," Hunter says as he rolls onto his back and sits up.

"No, I wasn't," I say.

"Because I got rid of it for you," Hunter says as he stands up.

"How?" I ask, and he walks off to his side without saying anything. "Never mind then."

"We should get moving," Hunter says after I stand up and went over to the fire pit.

"Aren't we going to have breakfast first or something?" I ask.

"The sooner we get out of here, the better. We shouldn't stay here much longer. Come on," Hunter says as he was beckoning me to follow.

"Shouldn't we take some supplies or something?" I ask as I quickly follow him since he was already going down the steps.

"Shouldn't be necessary. We should be able to get out today," Hunter says as I follow behind him when I finally caught up to him.

"Right, because you know what you're doing," I say.

"Stay close beside me. I don't want anything snatching you," Hunter says as he stops real quick, and gently grabs my arm. He brings me to his side and lets go of me.

"There's nothing out here," I say as we continue walking down a different path.

"We don't know that. We need to be cautious around here," Hunter says.

"What exactly are we looking for?" I ask.

"Anything. Anything can be our way out," Hunter answers.

"You think this trail will lead us to the exit," I say.

"Hope so."

"Were you serious?" I ask as I thought about what he said last night.

"About what?"

"Changing sides."

"Of course I was serious," Hunter says as he suddenly stops. He was about to place a hand on my cheek, but push his hand away before he touched me.

"All right, clearly we need to go over some boundaries here. Don't touch me unless it's completely and necessary, and if we end up staying out here another night, do not sleep near me. Got it?" I say.

"Not making any promises," Hunter says after a couple of seconds of silence.

"Son of a bitch," I say as I walk off.

"Sorry that I can't help it," I hear Hunter say behind me.

"Sure, use your demon instincts as an excuse," I say sarcastically.

"I'm not using it as an excuse. I can't control my urges, especially since I've never been in love before," Hunter says, and I notice he was getting farther away. I stop and turn around only to find him slowly catching up to me.
