~Later that Day~
"So, let me get this straight, we're going to go in there, destroy this big thing, and get out," I say, making sure I understand the plan.
"Yup, shouldn't be that hard," Storm says as we were standing on this one rooftop overlooking this warehouse.
"So far the clones aren't around," Hunter says as he comes back from surveying the surrounding area and peeking into the building to make sure the clones weren't around.
"Good makes our job easier," Storm says. "You boys ready?"
"Sure," Icarus says.
"Ready when you are," Hunter says next.
"I guess I'm ready," I said nervously.
"You'll be fine. This should be an easy job," Storm says. "Let's get going."
We warp to the roof of the warehouse, and Storm carefully opens this window. We manage to quietly sneak in undetected, which is good since I definitely don't want to get caught. However, it was really dark where we were at even though down below is bright as hell. I look down and can see this big machine that takes up nearly the whole room. Geez, wonder what that's going to be used for.
"Is that it?" Icarus asks quietly.
"Yeah, and we need to destroy it today before Flood uses it on the city. Merc got a tip that it's almost ready and she'll likely use it soon, so we need to get down there and get rid of it," Storm says.
"There are quite a few guards," Hunter says.
"You and I will take care of them. Nomad, Icarus, get down there and shut it off when we give the signal. If you have to, kill anyone who tries to stop you," Storm says to Hunter, then to Icarus and me.
"Okay," Icarus says with a small sigh.
"Let's go," Storm says to Hunter, and they went on the move.
"I don't want to kill anyone," I say quietly to Icarus.
"Yeah, me neither," Icarus says.
We waited for what seemed like forever until I spot Storm giving the thumbs up down below. Icarus and I make our way down, and once we get down there, I make my way to the control panel. I had to knock out a couple of engineers, but I'm not killing anyone. I finally find the main computer that operates this damn thing. I grab the flash drive that Merc gave me out my backpack and I plug it into the computer. I just let it run its course since Merc said it should automatically disable it once I plug it in. The flash drive completely disabled the machine, but now we have a problem...
Alarms start going off, and a voice echoed throughout the warehouse saying self-destruct in one minute. I start to panic, and I run towards the exit along with Icarus.
"What the hell did you do, Nomad?" Icarus yells over the alarms.
"Nothing! All I did was disable it," I yell back as we were running for our lives.
We meet up with Storm at the exit and we get out of there, but there was another problem. Hunter is missing.
"Wait! Where's Hunter?" I ask once we got further away from the warehouse.
"Shit! I don't know. With all the alarms and stuff, it should be a good indicator for him to get out of there," Storm says.
There was suddenly a large boom, and a whole bunch of water come rushing out of the warehouse, practically destroying one side of it, and going into the harbor. At least we don't have to worry about that going into the city.
