There was a deep vibration of the floor that was coming from the main area where Tony was hosting this SHIELD party. The base was blasting and the sweet smell of alcohol wafted through the air, trailing all the way into my room where I stand looking in the body length mirror.

I have to admit...that I look pretty damn good.

My white hair reaches my mid-back in large, loose curls. The corset style black dress hugs my every curve, my chest being accentuated. A lace pattern lays over top the corset area, fanning out down to the bottom of the dress. The dress itself is actually really short, it ends just under my rear, showing off my legs. Considering how short I am, my legs look extremely long.

Natasha had painted my nails a silver color, and my toes peek out from my newly bought stilettos. I have my
suit-necklace thing on, along with some pearl earrings that I found.

My makeup itself is pretty simple, a little bit of a base, some blush and highlighter and then mascara and eyeliner. Keeping it nice and easy.

A knock on the door startles me out of my trance, and I go over, my heels clicking on the floor, and tug open the door. Nat smiles, a few inches taller, her gaze starting at my head and trailing down to my toes.

I, myself, admire her stunning figure in the dark purple dress. She had gotten a haircut, her hair now all of its fiery glory. She has it straightened for today, and it contains a sheen in the light.

"You look hot."

I chuckle at her words, and close the door behind me. "Yeah, yeah. You do too."

"You think we have to stay the whole time?"

"I'm not. I'll have a couple drinks, chill for a little, and then I'm gonna leave and do my own thing."

"Sounds like a plan." Nat winks at me.

I take a deep breath as we near the blasting music and the staircase. We pause and look over the railing, taking in the scattered guests in the living room below us.

Tony had stocked the bar, and moved the seating around a little so that people could dance and then sit on the outskirts if they wanted to.

The staircase to our left would leave us right next to the bar, I could work with that.

Sending a wink at the redhead next to me, I start making my way down the staircase, focusing on each step and making sure I don't stumble in front of everyone.

I reach the bottom, the music thankfully distracting me from stray thoughts floating around the room. I ignore some of the people around me sending me glances and stride forward to the bar, sliding into a stool.

I tap my finger on the bar-top as I wait for the bartender to make his way over to me. I shift slightly as someone sits next to me, and resist the urge to groan as I see James.

"Do you always have to crash my moments?"

He just turns and smirks at me, waving the bartender over. He says something to the man, the music preventing me from hearing, and then the man walks away.

"What did you say to him?"

"I ordered us drinks."

"You don't even know what I like."

"I took a guess, Snow."

I shake my head, sparing a glance around the room. I see Tony and Pepper talking to a few people near the balcony, Thor is finally back, and talking to a still green Bruce. Steve is sitting on a couch next to Natasha, trying to stay out of conversations I'm assuming. Sam is playing pool with some other agents, and I can't seem to find Wanda or Peter.
