I spent the rest of the day in bed. I'm not sure what it was, but it was as if I lost all motivation. I'm just sad, but it's been too long and I should definitely go do something productive.
It's one in the afternoon.
And I need to get up off my ass.
Natasha and Wanda have been texting me, and I responded to them with what I did to everyone else; that I wasn't feeling good.
Peter had texted me again about how sorry he was that he couldn't come. May wanted him home because it was a school night.
I said that it was okay.
And now, I'm taking a much needed shower and then heading down to start up work again. I took a day off, but it's time to get back to it.

Wearing a beige tank top and a grey cardigan, paired with leggings and fuzzy socks, I exit my room and head towards the kitchen. Finding it empty, I gather bread and peanut butter, making myself a peanut butter sandwich.
I start eating as I brew my coffee, a slight headache settling in. Luckily, no one's around so it's peaceful and quiet. I let my eyes fall closed as I lean against the island and the smell of coffee wafts through the air.
"No jelly?" I jump at the voice, my eyes snapping open, to find James.
Of course.
Letting out a sigh, I push off the island to grab my drink.
"I don't like jelly."
"How do you not like jelly?"
I just shrug and put the milk and sugar in, stirring as I make my way to the kitchen table where the other half of my sandwich lays. Unfortunately, James takes me sitting down as an invitation for him to do so as well.
"Sorry for the other night. You were just trying to help me and I was being an ass about it. I think I caught something." I say while keeping my gaze firmly on my coffee that rests in my hands.
"Steve told me."
My stomach drops as my heart stutters. "W—what? What did he tell you?" I look up to find those blue eyes focused on me.
"That you don't get sick." He absently rubs his jaw that's rough with stubble. "So here I am wondering why you're lying to me."
"I'm not lying." I am. But I feel that I can be a great liar when I need to be. "I don't get sick sick, like cancer and stuff like that. But I can get colds."
"You're lying."
Letting out a sigh, I run my hand through my hair. "Okay fine. You're right. I just had a little...freak out moment and it made me feel sick. That's what happened."
And on top of all the shit that's been going on with me, I got my period. So, I'm doing amazing right now. I should've known, because my stomach was bothering me for a little, but I didn't notice and wrote it off as anxiety.
"Right. I actually wanted to talk to you about something."
"Yay." I deadpan.
"I think we've got a location on one of the warehouses. There's gonna be a scouting mission tomorrow, so we have to be ready to get called in."
"Why are they calling us in?"
"Because we know the layouts. Once the team confirms that it's a legitimate Hydra warehouse, then we'll go."
"Okay. I'll be ready."
"Good." He's silent for a few seconds as I take a sip of my coffee and continue to eat the rest of my sandwich.
