The New Captain of squad three

SOUL SOCIETY, SQUAD ONE BARRACKS

2 months had passed since the betrayal of Captain Amagai Shūsuke, the now former commander of Squad Three, and still their was uneasiness among the Gotei Thirteen.
It was not that long ago that three other captains decided to betray the soul society. Squad five commander, Aizen Sōsuke, Squad nine commander, Tōsen Kaname, and Squad three commander, Ichimaru Gin.

The betrayal of those three men, and the declaration of possible war by Aizen, was a heavy shadow. A heavy shadow that hung the most heaviest over the shoulders of the Head of the Gotei thirteen, Yamamoto  Genryūsai, the Head Captain commander of the Gotei 13, and commander of Squad One.

It was evident to Head Captain Yamamoto that the sudden increas in appearance of the rare and  powerful hollows known as "Arrancar", hollows who had ripped off part of their mask's, becoming even more powerful then they had been prier to the unthinkable act, were in fact connected to Aizen and his cohorts.

The  "Arrancar" who had been caught in confrontation with the tenth division's Captain Hitsugaya Tōshirō, and his advance team in the world of the living. The "Arrancar" had proven to be almost too much for the Captain, two lieutenants, and three seated officers to handle. Resulting in the Captain Hitsugaya, and both lieutenant's, Matsumoto Rangiku of squad ten, and Abarai Renji of squad six, to release their full power just to defeat them.

The concern that was growing within the Soul Society was not only limited to Aizen. The fact of the matter was, due to the current weakened condition of the Gotei 13, several old enemies including the Bount, and even the "Dark Ones" had attacked, intending to destroy the Soul Society, how ever each time they had been saved by a Deputy Soul Reaper, a human of all things.

If the Soul Society was to withstand the threat of both Sōsuke Aizen, and the numerous threats against the Soul Society, then something must be done.

Suddenly their was a knock on the door, "Enter," Came Head Captain Yamamoto's booming voice.

Immediately the door opened to his office, reveling the lieutenant of Squad One, Sasakibe Chōjirō. The man looked at the Head Captain calmly and began to speak.

"I beg your pardon Head Captain, but I'm afraid I have just received word from... Them".

At the mention of that particular squad the Head Captain's shoulders stiffened. If they were sticking their nose's into the affairs of the Gotei 13 then things must truly be serious. Yamamoto motioned for lieutenant Chōjirō to continue.

"It seems, they are concerned with the current affairs of the Gotei 13, and have made a recommendation for," The lieutenant hesitated, a trait that was not like him.

"Speak at once, their is no need to bite your tongue, as if you were an impudent child," The Head Captain stated firmly.

Chōjirō straightened his shoulders then bowed, "My apologize Captain," He cleared his throat, "They have made a recommendation for the empty position for Squad Three".

The Head Captain was silent for a moment, 'If any squad could use a new Captain besides squad Five, it was squad Three,' The Head Captain thought to him self.

"Who is this person," The Head Captain finally said after a moment.

lieutenant Chōjirō cleared his throat, handing over a letter directed to the Head Captain. "His name Captain is-"
