After Captain Suzuki was done training he got up and went back up stairs. He expected to be met by a few of the others as even he knew a good bit of time had passed. However when he walked into the living area he was caught off guard by the watchful eyes of everyone.

Captain Suzuki waved his hand awkwardly and noticed everyone seemed to be on edge. He let out a shake sigh as he ran his hand threw his hair. He continued to stand in place, an awkward stance, paired with a pained face.

"Are you going to sit down or are you going to stand there all day?" Renji asked with a slight scornful tone to his voice. Captain Suzuki flinched but sat down anyhow.

The black headed Captain was fiddling with his hands in his lap, not wanting too make eye contact with anyone in the room. The other soul reapers kept their eyes on him, acting as if letting him out of their sight for even a minute, it would give him a chance to run.

After seeing no one was going to break the silence and out of fear of tipping the man off, Izuru swallowed the anger in his throat and decided to try and speak to him.

"Tell me Captain, what were you doing down in the training ground?"

Captain Suzuki smiled sadly, "I was um... preparing an old friend of mine for well... their going away. I'm afraid after tonight I won't be seeing them again."

Izuru was alert, as was everyone else in the room.

"What is your friends name Captain?" Rangiku asked alarmed yet cautiously.

Suzuki chuckled a weak chuckle, "My Shioreta karitori, he's been a bit moody lately and I told him I was going to get myself a new Zanpakutō." Suzuki laughed weakly obviously lying.

Urahara nodded, "Dinner will be done soon. Tessai is making something quite delicious, I'm sure it'll make your mouth water Captain. You'll forget all about your fight with your Zanpakutō spirit."

The black haired soul reaper shook his head. "I'm afraid I'm not much up for eating tonight. I think I'll just step outside if that's alright and get one last look at the stars... for tonight of course." He laughed weakly again.

Izuru and Renji both stood up, however they stopped when they saw the other. Captain Suzuki noticed and waved a hand. "Please, I'm not some helpless child. I can go watch the stars by myself. You two enjoy dinner. If any of you need me you'll know where I am." With that he turned and left the room.

"Don't worry." Urahara said watching the door with intense interest. "I'll keep a watch on his spiritual pressure, he won't make a move without me sensing it." He smiled and in a joyful tone said, "For now lets all just eat." 

As if waiting for a cue Tessai came form the other room carrying several bowls and plates. "Enjoy." He said happily.

Izuru wasn't sure when it started but at some point during dinner either Ikkaku or Renji said something to the other which resulted in Yumichika and Rangiku to butt in which resulted in a slight argument which turned into a hysterical fit of laughter from all involved.
