Karakura town, a remote mountain hot spring

The feeling of steam and hot water against the skin was something most people (including even soul reapers) would enjoy greatly. That's what anyone would think at least. However there were two certain soul reapers who despite only wearing towels, were refusing to even get close to the water. 

The sound of the cut bamboo pipe filling up with water then slapping against the rock below it once filled, filled up the sound of uneasy silence.  

Captain Hitsugaya was glaring at Captain Suzuki with his arms crossed (His soul pager was not allowed in the hot spring) who was casually reading a book, a good distance away from the hot spring bath.

"Um captain's maybe you'd both like to get in and join us?" Renji asked looking unsure at the two captains.

Without even looking up Captain Suzuki shook his head slightly, "I'd much rather find out what happens to princess Kaguya then to scold my self and call it relaxing, but thank you for the invitation lieutenant Abarai."

Captain Hitsugaya closed his eyes, "hmph, if he's not getting in then neither am I, besides there's work to be done, we shouldn't be lazing around as if there is not a single threat, I highly doubt Aizen or his forces are slacking off like this."

Captain Suzuki sighed again, "You know Hitsugaya it wouldn't kill you to relax once in a while, maybe try taking up a hobby... like reading for example. You can be taken to far off places or back in time, even to times that never existed and see and meet fascinating and strange things and people. Its really-"

Captain Suzuki was interrupted by a bucket of hot water being thrown at him by the agitated Captain Hitsugaya.

"I don't need to take up a hobby, nor do I feel like taking advice form laxed idiot like you, also that's captain Hitsugaya to you" He said eyeing the other captain seeming to gage his reaction.

Captain Suzuki stood up soaked his wet black hair clinging to his head like a wet dog. "What's your deal you shrimp of a dwarf? If you have a problem just spit it out, you've gone and ruined my book and now I'll never know what happens in the end! Were both adults here so how about you just spit out what's really bothering you," The captain was screaming like a mad man, and waving around his ruined book, eye's twitching making him look like a mad man.

Captain Hitsugaya closed his eyes and twitched a little, "you really want to know why I don't trust you? You came out of nowhere, sharing nothing about your abilities or your self, and you expect the rest of us to just welcome you in with open arms, its infuriating, and quiet frankly it's suspicious. Not to mention your so laid back and refuse to use your Zanpakutō, your clearly hiding something from us and I will find you out and exposes the truth to the captains council and the rest of the soul society.

Sensing the tension Izuru stood up in the hot spring, his torso barely poking above the water, "um captain Suzuki, captain Hitsugaya, why don't we all just calm down and enjoy Mr. Urahara's generous gift shall we," he said looking very uneasy.

Captain Suzuki simply closed his eyes and gave that smile that made Izuru uneasy, "I believe I saw a book store close by on the way here, I'll just go pop in and see what they have and come back, I'm sure the hot spring owner will be understanding.

As if on cue the sliding door leading to the hot spring opened and sitting there on his knees was the hot spring owner. He was a short round man with a balding head, only possessing hair on the sides and back of his head. He had a curly mustache and a kind smile.

"Please honored guest, feel free to leave and come back, its completely fine, we will all be waiting for your return," the owner said in a slight shaky tone.

Captain Suzuki bowed and quickly excused him self. He hurried out so fast it was like he wasn't even there to begin with.

Not even a second later Captain Hitsugaya also got up, "I'll be back I'm going to get some fresh air."

"The hot spring owner sure is lax, I wonder why," Ikkaku said sitting crossed legged in the hot spring with a towel on top of his head. his mouth barely above the water.

"hmm, this hot spring is not very popular due to it being out in the middle of the mountains, most people choose the ones closer to town," Kisuke said, "He's no doubtable being overly nice in order to insure we come back.

Yumichika, being the only one barely dipping his legs in the hot spring eyed the door, "I'm more worried about the two captains getting into trouble then the owner of this spring. Something tells me we should keep an eye on them."

"Hmm, maybe your right," Kisuke said, "Tessai, why don't you-"

"Please allow me to follow them and make sure nothing happens," Izuru said already standing at the door.

"It is my responsibility after all, and I'll make sure to keep my distance as to not upset or irritate either of them."

"Very well," Kiskue lowered his face and his eyes darkened, "Izuru, make sure the two of them do not get out of hand, at the first sign of trouble alert us, and I will come running."

Izuru nodded and left.

A shadowy figure was observing the two soul reaper captains, one ahead of the other, the other clearly trailing the other.

The figure spoke in a velvety female voice, "The two captains are away from the other group." She was quiet for a moment, "Yes under stood elder brother, I'll order the Adjuchas to be on stand by to attack. They will overpower and eliminate the target elder brother.
