(Four months latter)

Izuru Kira sighed as he worked on the paper work he had been doing sine early in the morning. He was currently sitting at his desk in the joint office he shared with his Captain. The room was quite, the only sound out side was the sound of birds chirping and the sound of the wind chimes out side the window clinging.

Izuru thought it was a certain person but that thought was dashed when the chair in front of his desk was grabbed and spun around. The person sitting in it rather unceremoniously.

Izuru looked up and saw the scarred face of one of his best friends, Shūhei Hisag. Izuru gave him a nod to which Shūhei groaned.

"Ugh, its driving me nuts how much paper work I have. I thought after Captain Muguruma was reinstated as Captain, but it seems I have even more paper work now!"

Izuru nodded, feeling bad for his fellow lieutenant, he knew Captain Muguruma was quite the handful and was more prone to training and working out then doing paper work. Izuru was unsure of how to handle the situation, he wanted to help his friend. However he had no idea how to, without risking bad mouthing the white haired mohawk Captain.

Before he had to try and come up with anything, much to his concern, Shūhei interrupted his train of thought.

"Have you seen Rangiku lately? She's still acting all mope and down. I invited her out to drink but she said she had something else to do and brushed me off. I think the whole Gin death thing has gotten to her pretty bad."

Izuru nodded, Rangiku wasn't the only one who had been effected. There was someone else who had been acting weird when ever the former white haired Captain was brought up.

"What do you think we can do to bring her spirits up Izuru?"

Izuru looked up and began to open his mouth but was silenced by a can of raspberry soda being slammed down right in front of him.

"Don't you two have anything better to do then gossip about other people," Captain Muguruma asked looking irritated at the two lieutenants.

"Hmm why don't you leave them alone Captain? Their just worried about Rangiku, let them be."

Izuru looked towards the Captains desk and saw a rather tired looking Asura. His gentle smile not meeting his dark blueish grey eyes.

The blond soul reaper frowned, "Captain, I didn't hear the two of you enter. How was the meeting?"

Captain Ichimaru nodded, "It went well, Captain Hirako was reinstated rather easily, and was more then happy to take back his position. I think he'll be a marvelous addition to squad five. Would you like some help with that paper work lieutenant?"

Izuru shook his head, "No Captain I'm fine. If I may, have you been able to sleep lately Captain?" Izuru noticed the dark rings and black bags under and around the white haired Captains eyes.

Captain Ichimaru shrugged, "I'm fine, no need to worry about me, Izuru."

Captain Muguruma shook his head and scowled, "If your not feeling up to it, I'm sure Rōjūrō would be more then happy to take your place."

Ichimaru looked taken back but a look of submission crossed his weary eyes. "I-I have had trouble sleeping lately, however I assure you I'm perfectly fine and am quite alright. I'm sure if I speak with Captain Unohana, that she'll be able to help me. Nothing for you to worry about Muguruma."
