ARC 1.3: HEALING FROZEN HEART

Talking with Qin Yongzheng that night became a big turn of events for both of them. The count of their private meetings is not that many, but they are also not small.

Jin Xiu continues doing his job flawlessly, while Qin Yongzheng is still focusing on his company. Both of them live their life separately, only that silent garden knows what's happening behind the scene.

Jin Xiu finally got his day off, Qin Fengzhen's husband came back from abroad which's why he's wandering around the forest behind the Qin family's manor not minding what's happening around him if there's a danger,  the system will alert him immediately.

What for? The family gathering is still a few weeks from now.

[She's planning to ask about Qin Yongzheng's marriage]

Why would she care about his marriage? Don't tell me she'll ask Qin Yongzheng's mother to engage them?

[Well, you're wrong about that master. During your private meetings with Qin Yongzheng, Sun Chunhua accidentally met his mother, seeing that she's also come back, they talked a lot, reminiscing about the past when their family are still here, I don't know what's gotten into Mrs. Qin, but she mentioned Qin Yongzheng's illness to the female lead when she saw that the girl didn't show pity but care she took a liking to her and invited her to the manor]

And you only told me now!?

[It's not a big of a deal, why would I bother your reunion with your lover with simple as that, well she's just curious right now, especially since Qin Yongzheng is already old enough to marry!]

Jin Xiu wanted to talk back but stop himself. He gathered his things and walk back to the manor. When he saw that there's no unknown car there, he immediately goes upstairs to get change. He does not need some make-up or whatsoever, looking presentable is fine, he's not even the main star today so why would he dress up too much. And he's not even sure if he's invited, all he wants to do is to take a good look at Sun Chunhua.

When Jin Xiu is walking down the stairs he heard a car stopping. The female lead is here.

Jin Xiu opened the door and he tried to conceal his curiosity over her. If someone saw him right now, they will think that he likes her.

"Good afternoon," Jin Xiu smiled and greeted.

Sun Chunhua looks at the boy who opened the door, at first glance you'll think that he's a woman but when he speaks you're still gonna hear that it's a man's voice. Trying not to stare too much at him, she immediately smiled as she greeted him back.

Jin Xiu glanced at her. As the female lead of this world, her looks are without doubt first-class, she has short-length blonde hair, her obsidian eyes that mystically shines, her natural hourglass body, in-short she's drop dead gorgeous. Although Jin Xiu felt guilty for taking her future partner, the Qin Yongzheng right now is not the same as before, so the only thing he could do now is to harden his heart, promising that someday he'll pay her back.

Sun Chunhua noticed the boy stealing glances at her. She wants to start a conversation but she doesn't know-how. So she just sat there quietly waiting for Mrs. Qin to come down, or not.

Sun Chunhua can't stand the awkward atmosphere therefore she turns her head into him and teased him, "Hi, do you like what you're seeing?"

Seeing the young man flinched she resisted the urge to laugh. This young man is really cute!

Jin Xiu try not to pout and replied at her, "I'm just curious...I apologize for staring too much"

Sun Chunhua can't hold her laugh anymore, so she laughs until tears came out from her mesmerizing eyes.
