"Auris, we need to go."

Auris looked back and nodded.

Today is the ceremony and Auris can't help but to feel nervous. Although he believe that everything is going to be okay, he still can't get rid of the feeling that something unexpected is going to happened. He's scared but he needs to be strong to protect the people he loves.

Auris and the other candidates entered the temple where the ceremony will happen. When he turn his head to look at the interior of the temple, Auris saw Lillian fidgeting, she looks nervous, more nervous than he is.

After a while, the head priest walked towards the podium and greeted everyone, and as a response Auris and the others slightly bowed to return the greetings.

Then the ceremony began, it started by the priest telling the story of the gods to how they will know who is the child of light. Auris listened attentively to calm his nerves but in the end he can't help but to look where the royal family is seated, he knew it's wrong to blatantly stare towards them but he just want to gain assurance.

"Then please enter the third door on the left when you are called, if you have difficulties the other priests will guide you," the head announced as he turns to leave the podium.

As Auris waited for his turn, he saw prince Zachariah signaling something to him.

He nodded and smiled.

"Auris of the Temple of Souls," someone called.

Auris followed the priest quietly, calm and didn't asked anything.

"So, this is your plan?" Auris asked as they arrived towards a door which is obviously not the third door the head priest is talking about.

"Just go! You fucking rat!" the priest's ordinary face immediately change to Lillian's face.

"I'm a rat? Then what are you? A worm?" Auris said as he watches Lillian's expression changes.

"You-"

"Hey beauty! Stop that shit and bring him here!"

Lillian face switches from anger to fear, and that obvious changes caught Auris attention. There's something going on and it's going to be big. Something terrifying. 

Four hooded people appeared beside Auris and Lillian as loud roaring echoed through the temple walls.

Then it hit him.

In the story a war happened, however it supposed to happen few year from now. It was the butterfly effect of the changes he did, because in the first place, Saint Auris never waked up!

Auris immediately thought of finding Zachariah to inform him about their situation, however before Auris could leave he was grabbed by the four people and was restrained.

"It's fine, it's going to be okay now, it's his fault in the first place," Lillian said as she watches the four hooded person forcibly took Auris away.

Auris woke up in a dark room filled with water and candles, if you look closely, the 'water' is darker than real water.

Auris inspect the place until a nauseating smell hit him. He look down as saw his feet was soaked with blood, it's really not water!

"Oh, our beloved saint is awake," someone said.

Auris looked up and saw the emperor, well the fake emperor.
