The rustling was loud, the sounds of cups and other cutlery rang out into Arya's ears. She let out a soft groan turning over to muffle the sounds.

"Come Arya, you can't stay in bed all day" her mum boiled the kettle and poured it into a cup to make some tea.

It was around 8:30 and her parents were up and out. Arya's dad was outside setting the table for some breakfast.

"Are you going to get up?" His voice was light but had firmness to it, Arya turned to meet his face, she frowned and winced at the sunlight hitting her face.

"Fine"

They sat together, storm sat in his bed guarding the entrance.

"You can't beat a good old full English breakfast" her mum finished the last piece on her plate. She seemed to be more relaxed by the sea, less stressed about work problems or any problems for that matter.

"So what would you like to do today?"

Arya looked at her dad as her mum took in the finished plates. She looked out over the trees.

"I don't know..."

"You could take storm for a walk if you want? You know the way down to the beach." Her mum said, looking plainly. Arya had the route from there to the beach in her head. This gave her an excuse to go through the forest, which she hadn't seen for years.

She looked back to see her dad, he stared at her and then to the dog now by her feet.

"You can go but don't be too long and make sure you text us when you get there" he warned, giving her that glare he always gave when it came to things like this.

"I will" grabbing storms lead and her phone, she made her way to the back of the caravan site. Following the path to a small bridge, over onto a long Sandy path.

She walked down, normally she would listen to her music but something pleased her more to listen to the wildlife around her.

Storm sniffed the ground, smells seemed to pop out of no where and he had to smell every single one.

Arya lifted her head to see the towering trees ahead. They were tall and still, not perturbing or eerie as one might expect. They stood protecting the lands where they reached the sandy beaches.

At this point storm pulled to be let free to roam by Arya's side. She did as he wanted and put his lead in her pocket. The hills lined the forest with roots of trees sprouting out surrounded by sand and leaves.

She remembered the path she once took to reach the beach, though it seemed different, something still lead her across trails and paths.

No one was in sight, after travelling off the main path, there was no one, not a person or their dog. No children chasing each other or elderly couples walking together, nothing. Only birds whistling and trees whispering. The odd squirrel scuttling from branch to branch.

Arya loved it, this was what life meant to her. Being in a place so isolated from man-kind it made you question its very existence. It was very hard to find a place like that, especially one so beautiful.

There were faint sounds now appearing, not human nor animals but something else. The sea.

She chased the sounds through the forest, running and stumbling over hills and under low lying trees.

She slowed down as the trial ascended one of the tallest hills, she hadn't been this specific way before. Reaching the top Arya could see almost everything, the main path passing through where the trees met the beach.

Arya looked to her right trying to remember the old way she would go, it was across, over another large hill but this one was different.

Sitting down on this hill, was a boy, his legs hung off the steep part. His dark hair was unique and he seemed no older than 16 or 17 She stared for a moment or two.

He looked upon the sea, inspecting it closely. She thought it was strange to see someone else, she'd never seen anyone there before, it was always her place, it felt secret from others.

She was stunned to see his head turned towards her, looking at Arya. It startled her and not wanting to seem rude she turned away and carried on the path.

Storm waited by the main path, which now led down to the beach. Arya's eyes met the breaking waves, over the beach.

She let out a sigh, she could smell the salty air with the cold breeze. The sand was soft and warm from the sun, Arya took her flip-flops off and began to head to the sea.

The waves crashed against the wet sand. She took a tennis ball out of her pocket, which she'd brought with her. It was for storm. He watched eagerly as she took it out, waiting for it to be thrown.

Arya studied the ball, it was soft and clean, she laughed to herself knowing it wouldn't be long before it was covered in sand and sea water.

Her eyes locked onto the sea as she pulled her arm back to release the ball. It flew through the sky, carried by the wind it landed a decent way into the water.

Storm went chasing after, his legs projecting him as far as they could go, his body hit the water and he began to swim to the ball which was now floating towards him.

He grabbed it and brought it back, dropping it a Arya's feet. He looked up at her with a panting smile.

This went on for a good while, storm could run for miles and every time he came back with the ball in his mouth.

The sun was still high and the heat was still as strong, Arya called back storm for the last time and she took the ball and put it away.

They began their walk back to the caravan, they went back through the forest.

She glanced up to see if the boy was still their, she could remember his figure very well. She could remember the way he sat and how his legs were positioned and how his head looked upon the sea.

She was surprised to see him still there, even though she had never seen this boy before, it felt like he'd been their all her life but she's just never noticed him perhaps. He seemed to have only moved a little, just to reajuste or to stretch his legs.

The wind was now up and caused his long hair to flow quicker in the breeze. This boy seemed at peace, thinking deeply about things only he would ever know. Something about that resided in Arya, she wasn't sure what though.
