"Your not leaving me" he held her neck and waist firmly.
She screwed her nose up, squinting into a glare. She gripped onto his hand, the one holding her neck. The tension in her throat began to sky rocket.
"We're... f-finished..." there was a moment of relief for Arya as she inhaled as much cold air her lungs could take before the same pressure was put on her throat, gasping once again, she murmured.
A sudden call came from the darkness. Instinctively Matt let go of Arya's neck, she dropped to the ground.
Matts head turned, looking for the sound, hoping no one was watching. She got up from the ground, sweeping off the debris.
"I never loved you" Arya grimaced at Matt, feeling her neck pulsate and burn up.
He turned around to face her, his state was furious,"what did you say to me?" He tilted his head.
"I said- I never fucking loved you!" She screamed, her hands curled into tight fists.
Matt stood for a moment, slowly walking towards Arya, he looked at her. She glared at him, barely seeing his face in the moonlight.
All of a sudden his face changed, he white teeth showed and his fist swung around to meet Arya's face.
She called out in agony as she fell to the floor once again. The ground felt far too familiar and not in the good way.
"After all we fucking went through and you say you never loved me! Your a bitch Arya!" Matt stumbled away from Arya, holding his hand in pain.
She lifted her head from the ground, everything was a blur, she wanted to see clearly, she wanted to see him.
"You did n-nothing for me..." her voice was faint, gripping the branches around her she saw Matts head turn.
"You used me, you fucked me over and never once did you apologise... Matt, we're fucking finished" Arya felt the drip of blood, a stain now in the sand. Her nose wet and her eye bruised.
"I-I your just nothing but a bitch" Matt spoke, hoping to turn around for another swing of his fist.
Arya picked herself up as quickly as possible and took this as her escape. Matt cried out as she made her get away into the forest, carrying herself away from him.
She ran, the cold air raced past her face, the ground becoming soft and slippery from the mix of dirt to sand.
Every step was an uncertain outcome, Arya hoped every time, her legs would not give way but keep her steady and moving forward.
There were no sounds of chasing behind her and she certainly didn't want to stop to check for sure. Most trees looked the same, the odd one jutting out, strangely greeting Arya in its earthy way.
The cold air met the warm blood inside her lungs creating a strange feeling of fear and thrill. The blood trickled down her face, she knew this from the taste in her mouth, open to let as much air in as possible.
Wind whipped by as it raced other gusts to the unseen finish line. The floor seemed to hold an endless void, so dark you couldn't make out what were twigs and branches and what was nothing but hills and steep edges.
The direction she headed was fuzzy, it could have been towards her caravan site or to the beach, she didn't care, Arya had been having this feeling of running a way from her problems for a long time and now she felt like she was getting it out of her system for good. Doing the only thing she knew, run.
"Arya" a voice called out.
Before recognising it, she crashed into the warmth of a body. The familiar scent radiated from his body. It tall stature towered over her, holding either side of her arms to stop her going forward.
"Robin" she stepped away from his chest, putting her hands up instinctively.
There was a moment of silence as the two met eyes. Robins face was held with shock, searching her face. He saw the blood and bruising, he face creased in anger.
"Listen- I'm -sor"
"I'm so sorry Arya" Robin looked at the only glimmer left in her eyes, reflecting a small identical crescent moon in each of them. He stood close to her, breathing slowly.
"I'm sorry too, for everything, I didn't know what I wanted but..." she looked back up to him. Robin brought his hand up to her face, smoothing over her red cheek.
"I know what I want now... I don't want anyone else. I want you. I know what I did was wrong and I just wish I had told you, I-" she smiled, blinking away a young tear starting to form.
Robin looking back thoughtfully, still gently holding her face. He leaned in,"I'm sorry too, for not listening when you needed me".
They leaned even closer, nose to nose, not taking their eyes off one another. Just as Robin reached for Arya's waist there was a voice.
"you bitch!" He stood, wild-eyed and lip curling. His glare was intense, fists balling and body tense. Matt stood across the two, watching them.
"Matt just go! Your not welcome anymore! It's. Over." Arya parted from Robin, only holding onto his hand for support.
"Make me!" He spat, looking down on his now ex-girlfriend. Robin stepped forward, next to Arya.
"Your nothi-"
"You say another word and I'll kick your tiny dick so far up it comes out your ass!" There was a threatening voice come from behind Matt. Turning around, he was greeted by another tall guy, thicker than Robin. He held a baseball bat, pointed at Matt.
"Dylan" Arya whispered under her breath, she felt Robin squeeze her hand tighter, acknowledging her comment.
Behind Dylan were two other familiar faces, Arya could make out what seemed to be Nico and Ethan.
"You set me up, you little bitch, you knew I'd follow! You wanted to kill me you whore!" Matt turned once more and paraded towards Arya.
Just as she flinched away, a loud clatter hit her ears. Looking back, Matt seemed to lay on the floor unconscious, Arya watched his body for a moment waiting for a limb to move or and eye to open. Neither happened.
"He still has a pulse" Nico bent down, quickly touching his neck and standing back up.
"Shame" Dylan walked past the body towards Arya and Robin.
"You two ok?" He looked at both of them and then closer to Arya. His breath was quick, huffing sharply out, his shoulders drooping and rising.
Arya nodded, as Robin looked at the his small girl.
She met eyes with him again, her glance was guilty. He smiled back, taking her other hand in his.
Arya looked back to Dylan who stood over Matts unconscious corpse.
"Is that the same baseball bat?.." Arya noticed the same baseball Robin held the first time they 'met'.
"What? Like the other time I had to save you?" Robin chuckled, finally taking Arya's waist from behind.
She rolled her eyes at him but embraced his comfort.
"Thank you, all of you. I don't know what I would have done if you guys weren't here" she smiled at Dylan and the twins behind him, who gave an appreciative nod.
"And Robin, I'm sorry, again. For everything, I-" Robin placed a finger on her moving lips to stop her saying anymore. He just smiled at her.
"Don't be sorry" he grinned, leaning over to kiss her.
Their lips met, both warm and soft, yearning for one another's touch. It had felt so long since they had touched, Arya almost forgot the euphoria it gave her every time he was around let alone as his lips were pressed against hers passionately.
