[[WARNING: minor acts of harassment, violence and assault]]

She sat staring at the gem, it was beautiful and something that she thought she would never own.

They had just got back from town and her parents were outside relaxing in the last of the sun. The evening time was warm like usual and storm stared at Arya practically begging to go for another walk, down by the beach again perhaps.

"Fine... come on then" before she knew it they were making their way down to the beach. Some people still wandered about, where the sea met the sand, others were beginning to pack up for the day.

The sun set over the sea to create a light harmony not many witnessed that time of day. Arya smiled at the view and breathed it all in.

"Come on storm, it's getting dark" Arya glanced to the forest. It seemed bigger now the sun didn't shine through it. It was like something was different now. She'd never seen it this dark before, especially not on her own.

Storm glanced up with his long nose to his owner, he took a sigh like dogs do and waited for Arya to start walking him back.

Arya just stared for moment, staring at those trees. Storm began to wine, his little sounds brought her back into reality.

"Oh eh... sorry storm. I must of zoned out there. Come on buddy let's go" Arya lightly tugged on the leash and they headed to the forest.

The sand sunk beneath their feet like sandy waves forming above land. This made it hard to walk and Arya's balance was already lower than average and this wasn't helping.

Storm helped to pull her up, reaching the higher hills, below the higher ground was almost invisible, covered in complete darkness. It was uneasy to say the least, which made Arya want to get out quicker than usual. It had gotten darker than Arya had anticipated.

She didn't even bother to see if the boy was in his usual spot like he had been for the last few days, it was too late for that. She heard something she behind the trees? Was it her imagination? Even so it her off guard, her foot slipped and...

She stumbled, falling over, falling hard, down the hill. Hitting each part of her body in the way down until she felt the cold from the ground pass through her back as she lay at the bottom. She could faintly hear the barks of storm still standing at the top of the hill, he was about to come down but....

"Oh look who it is...." his voice was horrifyingly familiar, in the complete silence. It all happened so quick, Arya hardly knew what was going on.

"What are you doing out this time of night?" He snarled. Arya lifted her head from the sand-dusted ground.

"Remember me?" It was the boy from earlier, more menacing than before, the gigantic trees supporting him from behind. Not something she wanted to see right then.

She pulled herself up, gaining back her senses she'd lost on the way down.

"You hit your head pretty hard didn't you" a glisten of blood trickled from her ear, luckily it was nothing too serious, just a cut from a rock or sharp twig. Two other boys stood with him, neither of them were from before.

"It's only my ear I'm fine!" She called, still keeping some composure and still trying to stand from the fall.

"Ah well they don't know that," he began to circle her, she followed him as he walked,"all they will know is that you fell and hit your head so bad that it killed you" his words became sinister and dark. This was the same boy with other children, who could never think of such malevolent things. Could he?

"You walked off earlier before I could do anything and now I'm mad, you've not got your daddy to help this time" he lunged and backed off as he began to taunt her.

"Don't come near me you psycho!" She cried, holding her bleeding ear. Storm was no where in sight, she was in deep shit now and no one was there to save her.

"If i break your arm no one will be any the wiser, they will just think you broke it while falling" he sniggered.

"You sure about this Marco?" One of the boys warned.

He turned to the boy who'd just spoken, he was tall and stared at Marco,"she never did anything to you", he continued cautiously.

"Shut the fuck up, she spoke back to me like a little slut she is and now She's going to pay. If your such a pussy then you better leave!" He spat at the boy, who tried to defend Arya.

"So little slut what's your name, I never did get it?!" he walked behind and grabbed her throat, breathing down her neck, he towered over her.

She breathed heavily, holding back a flood of tears, she had one option left and only one shot. If she screamed someone could hear and come save her but if she did that then her 'punishment' could be a whole lot worse and her scream would be wasted after Marco had finished with her.

Thoughts raced and hearts pumped on adrenaline and fear. How would she get out of it? Would he really hurt her? What else could he do? All these threats seemed to real for Arya to believe they were just to scare her.

She whimpered slightly, her breaths were now short, due to the restriction on her throat. Every attempt to move just inflicted more pain onto her throat. Aches from her lower body now began to throb, feeling the bruises pulsate and burn. It must have been some fall for her to be feeling so weak.

"Aw are we crying now?" He sneered, facing the other boys in front of him. Their faces were mixed with anticipation and query. They didn't seem sure weather to be there or not.

"Do you know what I'm going to do to you?" The heat of his breath travelled down Arya's spine. She looked up at the tops of the trees, she'd never observed the tips and how the ended where they met the sky, it was ironic really. Maybe this was were she would end and meet the sky as an old friend....
