The sun was out at its fullest, burning bright, letting its light sparkle on the sand. Clouds hardly covered the open sky, instead were painted in a baby blue hue.
Robin carefully watched Arya as they walked across the beach, she stepped gracefully across the stones and shells littered on the sand.
Many families set up for a day out on the sea side. Arya could see a family in front, by the sand dunes, they seemed to have some blankets set out and some shade from an umbrella.
"They're here!" A shout came from one of the boys.
Arya and Robin came up and met with the brothers and Jenny, she lay relaxing on the blanket with some sunglasses shading her eyes from the sun.
"It's about time, I want to get in the sea" of course Dominic was complaining of something. That was him after all.
"Oh, dear I'm so glad your here" Jen looked up to see Arya holding her bag,"please put your things down, just throw them over there".
Arya did so accordingly, she saw Dylan come over and soon greeted him. Nico and Ethan were taking out some things they had brought, one being what seemed to be a blow-up dingy.
"Did you pack the pump for this?" Nico looked at his twin brother and then to the others.
"I... I think I forgot.." Ethan looked up at him guilty.
"Muuum, Ethan didn't bring the pump for the dingy!" Nico wined, glaring at him.
"Oh well, you'll have to do it the old fashioned way" Jen smiled and began to speak with Arya as she took off her layers to get to her swimming costume underneath.
The brothers moaned as they started blowing up the dingy, Nico placing his mouth at the opening.
Arya placed all her light clothing into her bag and took a big sigh, laying back enjoying the sun.
"Are you going to go into the sea?" Arya turned to Jen. She took her glasses off to look at Arya. "Well... I wasn't going to but if you want to dear you can, I'll watch your things" Jen smiled and put her glasses back over her eyes.
Arya eyes searched around to see Robin, he was over by Dylan, taking his shirt off.
She gasped quietly, quickly biting her lip to stop her moan from escaping. It was followed by a scurry of warm shivers go through her body. She prayed Jen wasn't paying any attention, she felt awkward afterwards and shook off her warm shivers.
Robin brushed his hair out of his face and glanced over to Arya, she walked towards him. He'd never seen her like this before, the swim suit she wore curved her body perfectly, it rises by her legs and lowered by her chest revealing the right amount of skin she was comfortable with.
Arya had put her yellow tinted glasses on which meant no one could see the look in her eyes when she stared at Robins open chest.
He took a breath in, seeing Arya, he soon smiled as he walked towards her, glancing down at her small body.
"I wondered if you wanted to go into the sea" she spoke, her hands met softly with his, closing on one another.
Robin looked up at others around and back down to Arya. He took his hand up to her face, bringing her sunglasses onto her head, away from her eyes.
"Now I can see your eyes" he laughed, leaning closer into her.
She smiled back, knowing she couldn't look at his body without him knowing now.
"You sure you were just looking at my eyes?" She teased, pressing her lips together.
He just laughed not responding to her question because they both knew the answer.
"You two going in the water?" Dylan called from the seas edge, he'd walked over and was just looking out onto the horizon.
They both looked at one another and then to Ethan who was blowing up the rubber dingy. He looked out of breath and his brother Nico wasn't helping anymore.
"You wanna race again?" Robin glanced back to Arya.
"No thank you"
Before too long they ended up in the water with Dylan, trying to escape from the heat of the sun on land.
The water was cold, they were in Britain after all, but the weather said otherwise.
"Wait I can't go that far in!" Arya called, as she watched Dylan and Robin walk further into the sea,"I can't touch the floor there".
"Don't worry we won't let you drown, just swim" Dylan spoke, watching her as she began to swim towards them.
Seemed as she'd only known Dylan and the other brothers for a few days, it felt like weeks. She just fit in so well into their group dynamic. Jen was so nice and generous and Dylan was so gentle and brotherly and the twins were funny and even Dominic had his good qualities.
Arya was still surprised Robin never spoke about them before, there seemed to be nothing to hide. Only one thing was on Arya mind about the whole thing, none had ever spoken about a father or whether they even had one. She'd always assumed he'd just left the family, but she couldn't see why, they were so good and Jen was so good and...
The waves ripped more now, Arya could feel a current begin to pull her down, so much that her head was barely above the water.
She started to struggle and thrash in the water, she could swim but the sea was always a challenge for her. She wasn't a strong swimmer anyway, so that didn't help.
"Ah!" She tried keeping her head stable above the water but her body convulsed below.
"Ay- clam down we're here" Robin came closer to grab her. He held her waist to keep her out of the water enough for her to calm down.
"Shit!" Arya realised what she had said, it was very unlike her to say such a thing, especially around him.
Dylan and Robin looked at one another and then bad to Arya who had stopped struggling. They both burst into a laugh and then couldn't stop.
"What!?" Arya smiled at their joy, placing her hands onto Robins shoulders.
She relaxed in his arms watching Robin try to control his laugher.
"It's so unlike you to swear and when you do you look like you just commit a crime" Dylan spoke, Arya turned her head to see him behind her treading water effortlessly.
"Oh shush" Arya glared, jokingly.
They just smiled, Arya slowly let go to start swimming by herself. Robin stayed close to her as she floated over the waves.
Dylan swam out further to where the waves were lower and laid on his back, just treading water.
It was at that point they could hear shouting, Arya turned to see a big blow up boat head her way. Behind it was Ethan holding it and Nico pushing him into the water.
"Let me on it!" Dominic too came over, splashing into the water, swimming to the dingy.
"No you can swim you idiot" Ethan yelled, pulling it away from his brother.
"You don't know that" Dom reached his hand to grab the boat.
"I saw you come out of mum, I think I do know if you can swim or not" Ethan laughed.
"Shut up"Dom frowned.
Robin smiled at Arya who watched the boys fight over the boat. She looked up at him before he picked her up again.
Dragging her through the water, he threw her in the dingy, face first.
She pushed herself up to see over the little boat. Robin swam next to it, as the others noticed Arya in the dingy.
"What?! That's not even fair, just because she's a girl doesn't mean she gets to sit in it" Dom wined receiving a dirty look from all of his brothers.
Dom sulked for a moment, Arya took this as her chance to splash him right in the face while he wasn't looking. It hit his face as he winced at the shock of it.
Dom stared at Arya and then smiled and splashed ten times the amount of water at her, completely drenching her. Arya messed around with the boys for hours, the time just passed so quickly when she was around them.
