There are moments in life when you are just confused about everything. You don't know what to do. Even you might be person who is known for their quick decisions, you just can't seem to decide upon that one decision.

Now it depends on what that circumstance is for you.

For me, it was the decision I had to make about Alec. The decision where I must decide whether to stay with him(just as he had asked) or leave (because I don't want be played in the end and walk into his selfish act).

What did I choose? Hell yes, I went with the former one.

Will I regret it? The dice are definitely rolling towards the yes. Still I am willing to give it a try? Yes, because he is still the person who seems to know and understand me better than anyone. But most of all...he is there for me.

"What are you thinking?"

I looked at Henry and glared at him trying to put holes into his brain through my glaring.

"About how you ditched me and didn't even look back to see if I might get caught." I squinted my eyes at him.

All of us got together after the teacher was gone and were standing in front of the door to the terrace right now.

"You had Alec!" Henry complaint.

I could hear Alec chuckling beside me. I snapped my head towards him and grinded my teeth at him.

My eyes landed on a brick which was laying just near the empty area before the entrance to the terrace. I ran towards it and picked it up before running and holding it high up—threatening Henry.

"ARE YOU INSANE." He yelled before trying to cover his head.

"BETRAYERS."

I brought the brick down and made it slam. Henry shrieked loudly making everyone jump in surprise.

The brick landed and made a loud sound before breaking into small pieces. Only rather than his head it was laying on the ground.

Just the fact that I terrified him this much gave me satisfaction.

I smiled satisfied before looking ahead without giving Henry a second look. Max looked at me with horror filled in his eyes. Afraid that I might do something similar to him.

Wasn't I having fun?

"What are you? A bunch of kids?" I heard Brian say before rolling his eyes.

I literally saw Liya and Evelyn pull his ears as  they looked at him sweetly.

"They will still be more mature than you."

"You hate me, don't you?" He muttered to himself.

"You bet."

"I am gonna open the door now. Are you all ready?" Xavier asked.

All of us nodded our head at him. He swung the door open and I will never forget the way I was slapped with the strong gush of cold wind in my face.

This was the moment each one of us was experiencing the same. All our emotions were the same right now. All of us were loving this. Because all of us burst out into a series of laughter of joy.

We all ran outside.

"This is awesome!" I said spreading my arms and looking up in the sky—just feeling myself and this beautiful weather.

"I love this." Liya chuckled, "I wish it rains."

Even though I was still looking up in sky with my eyes closed, I couldn't help but think about what Alec said earlier. About how he has bittersweet feeling for the rain.

I opened my eyes slowly and looked at the lightening in between the the clouds. So many. A little confused. Just like me.

"I hope it rains." I heard Alec say from behind me.

I looked down and found his contrasting blue eyes looking at me with a twinkle in his eyes. Just as contrasting as his words just now.

"You do?" I looked at him confused.

He nodded his head and smiled at me.

Henry and Max were enjoying the weather together while Brian, Evelyn and Nathaniel were together just goofing around.

"I told you I want to fall in love with it again." He looked at me intensely, "Remember?"

I cleared my throat, "Yes."

"Let's go to the beach if it rains."

Wait what? Did I hear him right? He wants to go where?

"With everyone?"

He burst out laughing before ruffling my hair, "No silly. Just you and me."

"What if it doesn't rain?"

It was rare. The weather. The clouds. Everything was acceptable. But the rain? That was once in a while.

"Whenever it does. That's my promise to you. Whenever it pours down next time, we are going to the beach. Together."

He looked sincere. Then again, he had been sincere since the beginning.

How can he expect me to not like him when he says that?

"Slow dowwwwwwn." The voice went distant and died down.

Both of looked ahead and saw Evelyn sitting on Brian's shoulder while he ran around trying to make her happy.

"He likes her." I said looking at them as Evelyn chuckled and hit Brian softly on his head.

"He does." Nathaniel came and stood beside me.

"Are they dating?"

"Pfff. He wishes." Nathaniel laughed.

"She doesn't know?" I asked surprised.

How could she not? Was I just too good at picking things like these or is she just an oblivious person?

Just the way Brian looks at her screams that he likes, no scratch that, is in love with her.

"She doesn't. Even if she does she is just ignoring it because she knows that it might become awkward."

I nodded my head at him.

"Guys! Come over here and look at the fucking view!" Xavier motioned us from the edge.

As we walked over to him, Alec rested his arms around my shoulder in a casual way. I looked up at him only to find him looking straight ahead with a hint of small smile on his face.

I couldn't help but smile myself as I walked along his side.

As we neared and I saw the view in front of me. I was awestruck. It wasn't something I haven't seen before. But it was something that no matter how many times I have seen it, it will still get me as excited as ever.

The horizon stretching far in front of us was covered with grey and dark sky as far as we could see. Lightnings between the clouds. The trees greener than ever. The cold wind hitting our faces. The trees dancing to the rhythm of the wind. All of us standing beside each other just facing the view—admiring it.

"For our friendship."

Max slipped his hand into mine. I looked up at him and I could see him looking at me with brotherly love in his eyes.

"Yes." We all whispered.

And just like that I was friends with people who always stuck to each other through thick or thin. Supported each other. Fought with each other. Made up. And fell in love.

And I was going to be a part of this journey with them.
