You were terrified. Absolutely terrified.

"Y/N, are you okay? Your face is completely white." Calum said, coming back to his seat next to you.

"Hm?" You said turning to him, your eyes wide.

"Are you okay?" Calum repeated.

"Yes, I'm fine don- holy shit what was that." You said jerking forward when the plane started moving forward.

He let out a little chuckle, "Don't worry Y/N you'll be fine."

You just nodded, but didn't really believe him. This was your third time flying, and every time did not get better. You wanted to just run out of the plan.

The plan started to speed up, preparing to take off. This part really terrified you, the part where we leave the ground. And plus, it was really noisy and that kind of scared you as well.

The plane started to take off, and on instinct you reached next to you and grabbed Calums hand that was on the arm rest.

He turned to you, interlacing your fingers and giving your hand a small squeeze. "Shh, it's going to be okay." He said, leaning in to whisper, kissing your ear lightly.

After about twenty minutes of being in the air, you hadn't moved a muscle it was like you were frozen in fear.

There was a bit of turbulence, and that completely threw you over the edge.

You're breathing started getting shallow; you could feel your throat closing up.

"Oh my God Y/N." Calum turned to you, letting go of your hand and bringing up the arm rest that was in between so he could move closer to you. He took of his seatbelt, wrapping one arm around your shoulders and started rubbing small circles with his thumb.

He pulled you to him so that your head was resting on his chest. He wrapped his other arm around your waist which made you move even closer to him.

"Y/N, I promise it's going to be okay. Just concentrate on my voice, okay? Ignore everything else around you. If you feel scared, you can hug me tighter, or punch me or scream at me, whatever makes you feel better."

You gripped onto his flannel, burying your head into his chest. He gently played with your hair, and that actually really calmed you down.

"It's going to be fine." He mumbled into your hair, kissing the top of your head.

I'm so sorry it's been so long since I last posted. I've been really busy, with school and all that 😘
