a few months passed and Charles and Diana had become quite the couple, which was great, but, we'd always end up getting chased by the paparazzi and at the end of the day, she was a child and none of us really understood at the time.
we got into Diana's car after being chased, breathing out in relief.
"so...speaking of Charlie, how are the two of you?" i asked her.
"the whole thing's just a bit odd, to be honest. he's not being consistent with his courting abilities. he'll ring me up every day for a week and then he won't speak to me for three weeks." di told me.
"that is really odd." i explained.
"yes..but i—-i've accepted that." she stuttered.
"what do you mean?" i asked.
"well like in my brain it's just 'fine. well he knows where i am if he wants me." she said
"but, so you're just waiting around for him?" i questioned
"yeah, but, mia, now the thrill of when he rings up is so immense and intense." She told me.
"and it drives the four of us crazy." i chuckled
she rolled her eyes, "i just think the whole thing's odd."
"it is, have you asked him about it?" i asked her
"oh, no! of course not. don't want to scare him off already." she smirked
"he'll get scared off when it's to late, don't worry." i chuckled
"oi!" she said as she slapped my arm
"no violence, there's cameras around, people might think we're having a. domestic!" i yelled
"oh, god. it's just awful, it's like being sucked in....just people pushing and then people pushing in the same direction." Diana ranted
"so you're being what? pushed by your family?" i asked
"well—yeah, my family think it's great." she informed me
"even Sarah?" i asked her
"shut it." she chuckled
"what about your other friends apart from, you know yours truly?" i said, pointing to myself.
"oh yeah, they love the idea, so do Charles' family and they actually like me they're really good to me when i stay like as a guest." Diana bragged
"no need for the brag, Di." i chuckled
"you're just jealous." she glared
"yeah, damn it, so jealous, wish i could be in a relationship with Phil." I mocked
