Kevin's P.O.V.
Fact: Shane had been brainwashing my mind with some new girl and her hotness.
Curious fact: My shirt is unpressed and has alot of crease lines.
Sure fact: I'll die forever alone.
"Did you check out the new girl?" Shane Olsen, my best friend asked, again.
"For the hundredth time, I haven't man. Plus, you know my luck with these chicks, I never find a beauty with brains."
"Dude, just look at her for once." I rolled my eyes turning around to look where he was pointing and spotted a tall girl standing by the water cooler. She was quite tall, maybe 5'7, with a perfectly curved bodice and long chocolate brown locks flowing down till her waistline. I gazed into her eyes which were a light shade of brown as they met mine, angrily. She'd caught me. Staring. Wooops!
"Isn't she hot man?" Shane asked smiling widely.
"Ya and short tempered too", I smirked.
"What do you mean?"
"I mean that she caught me staring and she's coming this way." I stated as the new girl stormed her way toward us.
"Do you need something?" She asked as she folded her arms across her chest, displeased.
"Sorry, I didn't getch ya." I answered in a fake accent, trying to act as calm as possible.
"Does my tee read *look at my BOOBS and my BUTTOCKS* ?"
"Nope." I said observing her plain mint green tee.
"Then why did you have your eyes frozen on my body, Mr. Perv?"
"What the fu--" I burst out in anguish.
"Sorry to interrupt, but I'm Shane and I think that you'll need help in exploring the school campus. Let me show you around Miss."
"Sure and tell your pervy buddy to keep his eyes to himself." She said following him as he lead the new girl to the cafeteria. 'Sorry man', he mouthed apologetically before leaving.
Who is she? Did she have some kind of grudge against me? Questions bustled through my mind as I stuffed my books into the locker and stormed my way towards the next class.

"Everybody say hello to your new classmate, Ms. Jones!" Professor Perrywinkle, our english teacher said delightfully as the new girl entered the class. Here we go, now English class is going to be a hell for me, I thought to myself as Professor Perrywinkle continued, "So, Samara you can sit right next to Ms. Hale."
I shuddered when I heard her first name, Samara. She had the same name as my ex with whom I'd broken up with a month ago when I'd caught her sticking her tongue inside Jason's throat in boy's locker room. Jason, being the captain of the Basketball team at Elmwood high, was a senior and much more popular than me. I still couldn't believe what Sammy, that's what I called her, did to me. I had loved her way too much to realise her mistake and breaking up with her was the toughest thing I'd ever done.
Samara took a seat on the desk right next to me with Rosalie Hale, fatty ratty, as she was called by the other students of the class. She was facing the perks of being an overweight as she wasn't skinny like the other girls in our class. I'd spoken to her a few times and realised that she didn't deserve to be treated that way, as she was really sweet and helpful.
"Today, we'll be discussing the poem 'The road not taken' by Robert Frost which we read in the last class. So, what are your views about it?" Professor Perrywinkle asked as she ran her eyes around the class and I instantly shot up my hand to answer.
"Yes, Mr. Rockfield?"
"In my opinion, the poet took the right path by choosing the road which is less travelled by as he wanted to stand out from the crowd and thus, decided to take the other path, because it seemed to have less traffic than the first. He's indirectly advising us to be unique instead of being a part of the mob."
"Good attempt Mr. Rockfield, but maybe I'll need a little more detailed answer." Professor Perrywinkle said as Samara shot her hand up. "Yes, Ms. Jones? Do you have something to say?"
"I'd like to tell Mr. Rockfield that this poem does not advise us to study the footprints and take the road less traveled by. Frost's focus is more complicated. First, there is no less-traveled road in this poem; it isn't even an option. Its title is not The Road Less Traveled but The Road Not Taken. Even as he makes a choice, he is forced to make it if does not want to stand forever in the woods. But the nature of the decision is such that there is no Right Path-just the chosen path and the other path." I gaped, utterly shocked as I realised that she'd stated all of my views wrong and definitely impressed Prof. Perrywinkle.
Are all the girls named Samara destined to make my life miserable and make me feel pathetic about myself?
Very good, Ms. Jones. Looks like we've got a competition in class for you, Mr. Rockfield." Prof. Perrywinkle stated out with a smile.
This meant war Samara Jones. "Definitely, Professor." I said whilst glaring at Samara with my teeth clenched in angst.
