Kevin's P.O.V.
Oh my gosh, they're shouting my name! Is it supposed to be like that? Do I look like a clown? Am I standing straight? Hope I don't entangle myself in the wire of the mic and fall down on the stage. That'd hurt, alot.
Why are you talking to yourself Kevin? You stupid assface!
I don't think I can do this! I was too nervous while performing in front of a mob like crowd. It's not like I had stage fear or anything as I had performed before, but drumming and singing were two different things.
That's when I looked at her; gazing into her eyes, they seemed like my gateway to heaven. She was an angel who came in my life and changed it forever with her aura of kindness, tenderness and affection.
Do it for her.
I felt like an idiot as I recalled those days when I made her cry. Looking into those beautiful brown eyes, I could sense the pain I caused her. But now, I couldn't afford another tear to fall from those virtuous eyes. I need to do this for her.
I lost myself after I began singing. She felt so special right now; I could see it in her smile. It was as if her eyes were talking to me, telling me to stay with them always.

"Nigga, you were fudging awesome man! I can't believe that you have never performed before dude!” Shane, told him while giving him a bro-hug.
"Thanks man!" Kevin replied, punching his fist. Shane had been his best friend from the third grade since they met on the first day of their music class, when Kevin's little fingers held the drumsticks while Shane's little ones were exploring the guitar strings.
As Kevin was looking for other band mates, he saw Samara approaching towards him. Before he could say a hi, she launched herself in his arms and hugged him tightly. He could feel her satin silk hair gently caressing his face as her sweet scent drooled over me.
"This was the best surprise ever." She said as her tear droplets tickled his neck and he gripped her fragile body much more firmness.
"Why are you crying?" Kevin asked concerningly, cupping her face in his hands whilst wiping her tears off.
"You were amazing ", she said through sobbing hiccups. He soothed her back and caressed her hair softly.
"Ahem!” Shane faked a cough from the back, startling Samara enough to break the hug. He could be a pain in the ass sometimes which made Kevin want to smack his face but somehow he controlled his eagerness.
"Hey Sam! What's up?" He asked as he approached Samara and gave her a friendly hug.
"If you're asking me what's up in my mind, I'd say that I want to chokeslam you real hard. But I'm too fragile to do that. By the way nice performance", she replied with a broad smile.
"Trust me; I've never seen this nigga getting this serious for anything. And yeah, happy anniversary Sam, have fun you guys. If you know what I mean." He elbowed Kevin playfully in the ribs before leaving us alone behind the curtains.
After they were alone, Kevin laid his eyes on Samara as she shrugged off her pink coat, revealing a short pink dress which sat on her body as if it had been made for her. It's soft folds hugged her chest following her subtle curves and the delicate pink was gorgeous against her ivory skin. The strapless dress showed her precious collarbones and it's light skirt flowed out above her knees, showing off her toned legs. Her wavy brown hair flowed perfectly, styled with a black satin bow and a creamy pink pearl necklace beautified her neck. She looked stunning.
Samara reached out for her lacey sling bag and pulled out an old-textured paper rolled up in a ribbon with an oxidized silver box with initials, K and S crafted beautifully in an antique font and handed it over to him. "I got this for you. Happy anniversary Kev!" She said planting a kiss on his lips and then gestured him to open it.
Kevin uplifted the box and found a silver key with the sentence, KEY TO MY HEART engraved on it. The cavities of the letters were filled in with a shiny, royal blue liquid which resembled the grace of a blue Sapphire.
Then, he opened the little scroll by pulling the knot of the ribbon and found a poem on it....
When I look at you
I see innocence in your eyes
Your endearing smile reminds me of
The sugar plums and honeysuckles
Your voice like the solemn sound of cherubs,
As they strike there golden harps
When I look at you
I recall the day we met
It was sweet as the blue heavens
Our lips locked for the first time
Like scarlet strawberries under wet leaves
Though the love didn't commence then
We both did mistakes & apologized,
Realised how inseparable we are
Like two swinging bells in a wind chime
That’s when we felt love,
Love as passionate as a dawn's star
When I look at you,
I think of
How you gave me your heart
When tears dripped from my soul
I've rendered my heart to you baby
I may not be good enough for you,
But my love for you is like
A heaven's image on an unrippled lake
I fancy you to be my first and last love
Please look after my heart; I've left it with you
